CUP Recruitment 2023: The Central University of Punjab (CUP), Bathinda has sought Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Post On a Contractual Basis Initially for 01 Year and subsequently Extendable for another 02 Years, Total 03 Years vide the CUP Recruitment 2023. According to the CUP Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there is 01 Vacancy to be filled up with a Consolidated Monthly Remuneration.
In view of the CUP Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligible Candidates with Willingness may apply up to the Last Date 26.03.2023 via Mail as per the Instructions prescribed therein.

According to the CUP Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Monthly Remuneration fixed for Junior Research Fellow Post is as follows:
Monthly (Consolidated) Salary: Rs 31000 Per Month Plus HRA (for JRF for initial 02 Years; Thereafter Rs.35000 Plus HRA for 3rd Year after 02 Years’ Research Experience as per the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), a statutory body of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Guidelines)
According to the CUP Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, General Category Candidate should be aged as on the Interview Date (27.03.2023):
Age Limit: Not to exceed (Below) 28 Years.
Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates.
As notified in the CUP Recruitment 2023, the Eligibility stipulated for CUP JRF is as follows:
M.Sc. (Botany)/Equivalent Degree in any relevant branches of Life sciences with Minimum 55% Marks for General Merit and OBC Category. Relaxation of 05% Marks for Reserved Community Candidates from the University Grants Commission accredited University/Institute.
Qualified CSIR-UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET)/Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/NET-Lectureship Examinations for Junior Research Fellow.
Desirable Qualification: Preference may be given to the Candidates with Prior Experience in Molecular
Biology, Genetic Engineering in Algae through Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) Cas-9, and also have Prior Knowledge to Culture Cyanobacteria/Algae.
Selection on Junior Research Fellow shall be carried through by Personal Interview involved. Appropriately Suitable Candidates post-selection shall be engaged initially for 01 Year and thereafter Extendable by another 02 Years.
