With effect from April 26, 2022, the Department of Posts will begin delivering NPS (All Citizen Model) over the internet. Any Indian citizen between the ages of 18 and 70 can use this online service by going to the Department of Posts' official website (www.indiapost.gov.in) and clicking on "National Pension System -Online Services." The specific link is https://www.indiapost.gov.in/Financial/Pages/Content/NPS.aspx Customers can take advantage of services such as new registration, initial/follow-up contributions, and SIP choices through NPS Online for a low fee. The Department's NPS service charge is one of the lowest. Subscribers are also entitled for a tax deduction in NPS if the Ministry of Finance makes a declaration under Sec. 80CCD 1 from time to time (B).
