DOT Recruitment 2024: The Department of Telecommunication is seeking applications from interested and qualified candidates for the post of Consultant in Assistant Director (AD) and Junior Telecom Officer (JTO). There are 03 vacancies open for DOT Recruitment 2024. The applicant must be a retired officer from the Central or state government with a minimum substantive grade of Level 8 of the 7th CPC in CDA scale. The amount of remuneration so fixed will remain unchanged for the terms of the contract. There will be no annual increment/ percentage increase during the contract period.
To apply for DOT Recruitment 2024, the maximum age limit does not exceed 64 years. The appointment is made on a contract basis for a period of 06 months. A personal interaction or interviews will be used to select the candidates. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria as given in the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2024 have to submit their duly filled application form along with the required documents to the Addl. Based on the official notification of DOT Recruitment 2024, the remuneration and allowances payable to the selected candidates will be as per the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. No increment and dearness allowances will be paid by the committee.
The appointment is made on a contract basis and the selected candidates for DOT Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for a period of 6 months which may be extended for up to a maximum period of 6 terms of 6 months each or up to 65 years of age whichever is earlier depending on the performance of the candidates and requirement of the committee.
The selection of DOT Recruitment 2024 will be determined on the basis of a personal interaction or interview. The decision of the department in the matter of selection of the consultants shall be final and binding. The date, time and venue of the selection process will be intimated later to the candidates.
