According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, interested and eligible candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Research Associate(RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in various subjects/ departments. There are 05 seats available for the mentioned position.

Age Limitation for DRDO Recruitment 2023: 

As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit for applying for the post of Research Associate (RA) is 35 years and the maximum age limit for applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is 28 years as on the date of the interview.

Qualification for DRDO Recruitment 2023: 

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the required minimum educational qualifications are mentioned below:

For Research Associate (Ocean Science)-

• The candidates should have PhD in Ocean Sciences or relevant allied subjects preferably with experience in the field of Physical /Chemical Oceanography or M. Tech (Ocean Technology) with 3 years of post-qualification research or teaching experience in the field of Physical / Chemical Oceanography having at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

For Junior Research Fellow (Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering)-

• The candidates should have BE/ B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering /Electronics and Communication Engg in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification or ME/ M.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

For Junior Research Fellow (Computer Science and Engineering)-

• The candidates should have B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science Engg in 1st Division with valid NET/GATE qualification or M.E/ M.Tech in Computer Science Engg in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

For Junior Research Fellow (Mechanical Engineering)-

• The candidates should have BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 1st Division with valid NET/ GATE qualification or ME/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 1st Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

For Junior Research Fellow (Physics)-

• The candidates should have Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science pertaining to the subject/discipline in 1st Division with a valid NET qualification.

Salary for DRDO Recruitment 2023: 

As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO  Recruitment 2023, candidates selected for the post of Research Associate (RA) would be paid Rs.54000 per month plus House Rent Allowance and Rs.31000 per month plus House Rent Allowance for Junior Research Fellow (JRF), as permitted by the guidelines.

Tenure for DRDO Recruitment 2023: 

As per the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the initial offer shall be for a period of 02 years, extendable further as per the rules.

Mode of Selection for DRDO Recruitment 2023: 

According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the committee will conduct interviews to determine which individuals are qualified. Candidates must be at the interview location on or before the specified time. The interview will be scheduled for 09.09.2023 (Saturday) at 09:30 AM. The interview will take place at Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya on the campus of Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, Thrikkakara P.O., Kochi 682021. The candidates have to carry all the relevant documents mentioned in the official notification at the time of the interview.
