DRDO Recruitment 2023: The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is inviting interested and eligible candidates for the post of Research Associate (RA) and Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in various subjects/disciplines. As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, there are 08 vacancies for the mentioned position. The educational qualification is different for both the posts and for each subject/ discipline (mentioned below). The maximum age limit for applying for the post of Research Associate is 35 years and the maximum age limit for applying for the post of Junior Research Fellow is 28 years as of the date of the interview. The remuneration for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is Rs.37000 per month and for Research Associate (RA) is Rs.67000 per month. The selected candidates will be posted to the Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL), Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi – 110054.

The fellowship will be purely on a temporary basis. As mentioned in the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the candidates selected for the post of Research Associate (RA) will get monthly emoluments for the Fellowships shall be Rs.67000 per month plus House Rent Allowance as per DRDO guidelines and the candidates selected for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) will get a monthly salary of Rs.37000 plus House Rent Allowance as per DRDO guidelines.

The candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Physics/ Electronics/ Material/ Mechanical Science.
Desirable:
The candidates should have Research Experience in the field of semiconductor materials and devices, fabrication and characterization.
Junior Research Fellow (Physics/ Electronics/ Material/ Mechanical Science):
According to the official notification of DRDO Recruitment 2023, the appointment will remain for a period of 02 years and may be extendable further as per the rules. The fellowship is purely on a temporary basis.
