Many taxpayers across the country are sharing their experience of faster income tax refunds from the Income Tax Department after filing the Income Tax Return (ITR). Recently, CA Sudhir Halakhandi on platform X shared how ITR was filed and immediately Income Tax refund was credited.

This shows the enhanced efforts of the income tax department towards the ITR refunds.

Earlier, it used to take 1 month to 4 months to receive the ITR refund. However, nowadays, the refunds are being credited within 24 hours or, at maximum, within 10 days of filing the ITR.

Many other taxpayers are also praising the efforts of the income tax department. One of the users replied to another user’s post, saying that he also received his refund within 10 minutes of filing ITR.
