GAIL Recruitment 2023: GAIL (India) Limited has recently released a notification for the recruitment of Executive Trainees in various disciplines such as Chemical, Civil, GATELTEL (TC/TM), and BIS. There are total of 47 Vacancies for the Given Posts.
The selection process for this recruitment will be based on the marks obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. GAIL is looking for committed, vibrant, and passionate young graduate engineers to fill various executive trainee positions. These positions are open to individuals who have taken the GATE-2023 exam, and the specific details of the available positions.
As per the official Notification of GAIL Recruitment 2023 Name of Posts and Number of Vacancies are given below:
Education qualifications are given below as per GAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification:
1. Executive Trainee (Chemical): To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology/ Chemical Technology & Polymer Science/ Chemical Technology & Plastic Technology with a minimum of 65% marks.
2. Executive Trainee (Civil): To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in Civil with a minimum of 65% marks.
3. Executive Trainee (GAILTEL TC/TM): To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electrical & Telecommunication with a minimum of 65% marks.
4. Executive Trainee (BIS): To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Computer Science/ Information Technology with a minimum of 65% marks, or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 60% marks and a three-year Master’s Degree in Computer Application (MCA) with a minimum of 65% marks.
As per GAIL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the age limit and age relaxation criteria for the GAIL Executive Trainee recruitment through GATE-2023 are important factors that candidates must keep in mind while applying. The upper age limit for all Executive Trainee posts is 26 years as of 15.03.2023. However, certain categories of candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per the guidelines of the company.
SC/ST category candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit, while OBC (NCL) category candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 3 years. PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates belonging to the General/EWS category are eligible for a relaxation of 10 years, those belonging to OBC(NCL) category are eligible for a relaxation of 13 years, and those belonging to SC/ST category are eligible for a relaxation of 15 years. It is important to note that these age relaxations are applicable only in respect of posts that are reserved for SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates. For SC/ST/OBC(NCL) candidates applying against unreserved (UR) posts, no relaxation in the upper age limit shall be available.
Candidates domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir between 1.1.1980 and 31.12.1989 are eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit. Ex-servicemen who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Armed Forces of the Union are allowed to deduct the period of such service (actual service rendered in the Armed Forces) from their actual age, subject to a maximum age limit prescribed for the posts/services for which a candidate seeks appointment, by more than 3 years.
It is important to note that the maximum upper age limit for all candidates, including those eligible for age relaxation, shall not exceed 56 years. Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the age limit and age relaxation criteria as per the guidelines provided by GAIL (India) Limited, in order to be eligible for the Executive Trainee posts.
As per the official notification of GAIL Recruitment 2023 the selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.60,000 – 1,80,000/- at the Basic Pay of Rs.60,000/- during one-year training cum probation as Executive Trainee in E-2 grade. On successful completion of their Training cum Probation Period, they will be absorbed in the same Pay Scale of Rs.60,000 – 1,80,000/- in E-2 grade.
Apart from the basic pay, selected candidates will be entitled to receive Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) at applicable rates, performance-related pay based on individual and organizational performance, and perks and allowances under the cafeteria approach. They will also be entitled to other benefits such as Company Accommodation/Leased Accommodation/HRA, medical facility, group insurance, etc.
Employees who superannuate from GAIL after rendering a minimum of 15 years of service will also be entitled to Post-Retirement Medical Benefits in addition to Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Pension.
As per the official notification for GAIL recruitment 2023 candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE-2023 score for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. The final selection will be made based on the candidate’s performance in the GATE-2023 score, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
As per the official notification of GAIL Recruitment 2023 to apply for this position, candidates must visit the official website of GAIL and complete the online application process, indicating their GATE 2023 registration number. The application link will be available on the website from 14th February 2023 till 15th March 2023. It is essential to note that no other means or modes of application shall be accepted.
Once the online application process is complete, a unique registration number will be generated, and a message will be displayed on the system informing the candidate that their application has been submitted successfully. Additionally, an auto-generated email will be sent to the candidate confirming the submission of their application.
After submitting the online application, candidates must take a printout of the Application Form generated by the system with a unique registration number. Candidates must sign the application form as per the instructions provided and keep it safely.
Candidates who are called for further selection processes, such as Group discussions and/ or Personal Interviews, will be required to produce the same application form at the time of the selection process. It is important to note that candidates should not send a printout of the online application to any of the GAIL (India) Limited offices.
