HRTC Recruitment 2023: The Office of Regional Director, Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC), has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Contractual Appointment on Driver Posts in Himachal Pradesh. As has been notified in the HRTC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, there are 276 Vacancies with Fixed Monthly Honorarium to be filled up with the Selection of Suitable Candidates as HRTC Driver on a Contractual Basis. The Eligible Candidates interested in applying for HRTC Driver Post may fill in the Applications in the Prescribed Format.
The Last Dates for the Interested Candidates to submit the duly completed Applications in the Divisional/Zonal/Sub-Divisional Offices Concerned published in the HRTC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement are 07.03.2023 and 14.03.2023. The Last Date 07.03.2023 is applicable to the Candidates in Non-Scheduled Regions/Areas and 14.03.2023 is applicable to Scheduled Regions/Areas.
According to the HRTC Recruitment 2023, there are 276 Vacancies (including 98 Posts for Un-Reserved Category) to be filled up on a Contractual Basis

As is notified in the HRTC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidates appointed as Contractual Based Drivers would be entitled to the Fixed Monthly Honorarium as follows:
Monthly Honorarium: Rs. 15360 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred and Sixty) only Consolidated Per Month
As per the HRTC Recruitment 2023, the General Merit Candidates should be aged between 18 Years and 45 Years as on 01.01.2023.
Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 45 Years.
Reservation in the Upper Age Limits as per the Government Rules.
Based on the HRTC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Eligibility including Educational Qualification, Physical Standards and Professional Qualification and Experience among other things are as follows:
Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) Pass out from any School/Institute duly recognized by the Himachal Pradesh Government. This is Not Applicable to the Local Applicants with Permanent Residence in Himachal Pradesh.
Desirable: Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) with Mandatory 03-Years’ Experience in driving Heavy Transport Vehicles Driving.
Mandatory: Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (HVDL) with 03-Years of experience.
Physical Standards:
1) Height: 160 Centimeters is Compulsory.
2) The Applicant should be Physically and Mentally Fit.
Note: The Applicant/Candidates must neither have been expelled on the Disciplinary Basis nor have taken Voluntary Retirement from any Department.
Selection of the Suitable Candidates as Drivers on a Contractual Basis would be done by i) Preliminary Driving Test (PDT), ii) Final Driving Test (FDT) and Document Verification.
I) Principal/Main Application Amount Rs. 300 (Rupees Three Hundred) only in the shape of a Demand Draft (DD)/Indian Postal Order (IPO) payable in favor of the Zonal/Divisional/Sub-Divisional/Regional Manager Concerned
Driving Test Fee: Rs. 500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only
Preliminary Driving Test Qualified/Passed Candidates will be put to the Final Driving Test in Institute of Driving Training and Research (IDTR), Sarkaghat.
Interested Candidates should apply in the Prescribed Application Format available with this HRTC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement and also on the HRTC Website.
Duly completed Applications should be submitted with the Required Driving Test Fee and Documents to be submitted in Divisional/Sub-Divisional Offices notified in the HRTC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
