GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals made a disclosure in front of NSE and BSE that it has received an order from the West Bengal GST authorities demanding a penalty from the company.

GlaxoSmithKline Receives Rs. 3.36 Cr GST Demand Order
Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline received an order on 24th June 2025, from the Commissioner, CGST & CX, Appeals-II, Kolkata, regarding Disallowance of transitional credit (TRAN 1 & TRAN 2 credit) for FY 2017–18.
The said authority has raised a total demand of Rs. 3,39,09,520 from the company.
The company made disclosure of the matter to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE in compliance with Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company also stated that there is no impact on the financial operations of the organization, and it is evaluating the order and will take necessary steps regarding the same.
