GSK Pharma Receives NPPA Demand Notice of Rs 3.54 Crore, Plans to Appeal GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GSK Pharma) has received a demand notice of Rs. 3,54,12,025 from the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), according to a stock exchange filing made on June 25, 2026.

The notice, dated June 24, 2026, alleges that the company overcharged customers by selling certain scheduled medicines at prices higher than those fixed by the government. The total demand is Rs. 3,54,12,025 including alleged overcharging, Rs. 1,22,91,163 and interest Rs. 2,31,20,862. GSK Pharma said it received the notice on June 24, 2026. The company clarified that the demand will not have any impact on its financial operations. The company also stated that it plans to file an appeal against the demand notice.
