GST Return Due Date Extended amid GSTN Technical Glitches
Taxpayers working on the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) were facing a lot of technical issues in filing the GST Returns.
GST Return due date for various Forms have been extended amid these glitches. GST Return due date for GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-5, GSTR-6, GSTR-7 and GSTR-8 has been extended.
The GSTR 1 due date for monthly Taxpayers has been extended to 13th January 2025 and for (Quarterly Return monthly payment) QRMP taxpayers, it has been extended to 15th January 2025. Earlier the Due date was 11th January 2025 for monthly Taxpayers and 13th January 2025 for QRMP taxpayers.
The GSTR-3B due date for monthly Taxpayers has also been extended to 22nd January 2025 and for (Quarterly Return monthly payment) QRMP taxpayers, it has been extended to 24th/26th January 2025. Earlier the Due date was 20th January 2025 for monthly Taxpayers and 22nd/24th January 2025 for QRMP taxpayers.
The due Date for filing FORM GSTR-5 and FORM GSTR-6 for the tax period December 2024 has been extended from 13.01.2025 to 15.01.2025.
Similarly, the time limit for filing FORM GSTR-7 and FORM GSTR-8 for the tax period December 2024 has been extended from 10.01.2025 to 12.01.2025.
