Gujarat: GSTAT Rajkot Bench Starts Functioning

The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) State Bench in Rajkot has officially started its functioning. This was announced in a trade notice issued by the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue). This is good news for taxpayers and businesses in Gujarat who need to resolve GST-related disputes.

The notice also mentioned the GSTAT e-filing portal, which was launched earlier on 24 September 2025 by the Ministry of Finance. This portal allows the appellants to e-file their appeal for an order in appeal issued by the first appellate authority (Section 107) and the order issued by the Revisional Authority (Section 108). The appellants can also raise a ticket incident report form through the e-filing portal.

The GSTAT, Rajkot Bench is located at 201-208, Tower A, RK Iconic, 150 Feet Ring Road, Near Sheetal Park, Puneet Nagar, Rajkot, Gujarat, 360006.

The start of GSTAT Rajkot is expected to speed up dispute resolution and improve the ease of doing business in Gujarat.
