HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023: The Member Secretary, Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MSLSA), Imphal, Manipur has invited Applications from the Candidates Eligible for various Contractual Posts for Implementation of “Legal Aid Defense Counsel System” for Districts under Imphal East, Imphal West, Bishnupur and Thoubal under the LADCS (Legal Aid Lawyers in Defense Aid Counsel) Scheme 2022 notified vide this HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement under Fixed Monthly Honoraria. Based on the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 24 Vacancies (i.e., 04 Vacancies for each Post).
As is notified in the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, all the Willing Candidates with the prescribed Eligibility specific to the Posts: [1) Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel, 2) Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel, 3) Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel And Each Post of 4) Office Assistant, 5) Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator and 6) Peon], may apply with duly filled-in Applications in the Prescribed Application Proforma, Enclosures and Requisite Examination Fee up to (the Last Date) 20th March 2023 (20.03.2023). According to the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Advertisement the Candidates may submit duly completed Applications with all Annexures from 13.03.2023 to 20.03.2023.
According to the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 24 Vacancies to be filled up under the LADCS Scheme 2022:
1) Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel: 04 Vacancies
2) Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel: 04 Vacancies
3) Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel: 04 Vacancies
4) Office Assistant: 04 Vacancies
5) Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator: 04 Vacancies
6) Peon: 04 Vacancies
As per the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Monthly Honorarium inclusive of all Allowances shall be accruing to the Posts mentioned hereunder:
1) Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel: Rs.75000 (Rupees Seventy-Five Thousand) only Per Month
2) Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel: Rs.55000 (Rupees Fifty-Five Thousand) only Per Month
3) Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel: Rs.30000 (Rupees Thirty Thousand) only Per Month
4) Office Assistant: Rs.20000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand) only Per Month
5) Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator: Rs.17000 (Rupees Seventeen Thousand) only Per Month
6) Peon: Rs.12000 (Rupees Twelve Thousand) only Per Month
Based on the HMCIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Age Limits for the Post-Eligible Candidates as on the HCMIMPHAL Advertisement Date are hereunder:
Post 01: Maximum 35 Years
Post 02: Maximum 30 Years
Post 03-06: Maximum 25 Years
According to the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Eligibility including Educational Qualification and Experience in respect of the Post opted for by the Candidates is as explained hereunder:
For 1st to 3rd Posts: Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel, Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel and Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel: Bachelor of Legal Laws (LL.B.)
Post 04: Office Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree/Graduation with Computer-Based Typewriting Speed @ 35 Words Per Minute
Post 05: Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator: Graduation with Computer-Based Typewriting Speed @ 35 Words Per Minute
Post 06: Peon: Matriculation
Selection on the Posts; viz., 1) Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel, 2) Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel,3) Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel And Each Post of 4) Office Assistant, 5) Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator and 6) Peon consists of 02/03 Stages, Written Test followed by Viva-voce/Interview/Skill Test. The Written Test is only aimed at screening/shortlisting of the Candidates for Viva-voce/Interview. Viva-voce/Personal Interview carries Maximum 100 Marks. The Candidate’s Marks obtained in Viva-voce/Interview would be counted for preparing the Final Merit List for Selection.
For 1st to 3rd Posts: Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel, Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel and Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel: Written Test (60 Marks) followed by Viva-voce/Interview (40 Marks) yielding Merit Merit List.
Post 04: Office Assistant: Written Test (50 Marks) followed by Computer-Based Typewriting Test (20 Marks)Viva-voce/Interview (30 Marks) yielding Merit Merit List.
Post 05: Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator: Written Test (50 Marks) followed by Skill Test (20 Marks)Viva-voce/Interview (30 Marks) yielding Merit Merit List.
Post 06: Peon: Interview (100 Marks) resulting in Final Merit List
According to HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Examination Fee to be borne by the Interested Candidates is as follows:
For each Post of 1) Chief Defense Legal Aid Counsel, 2) Deputy Defense Legal Aid Counsel, 3) Assistant Defense Legal Aid Counsel and Each Post of 4) Office Assistant, 5) Receptionist-cum-Data-Entry-Operator and 6) Peon shall be as hereunder:
1st to 3rd Posts: Rs.1000 (Rupees One Thousand) only
4th to 6th Posts: Rs.500 (Rupees Five Hundred) only
According to the HCMIMPHAL Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Candidates Applicant for Multiple Posts should apply in the Prescribed Application Proforma only. The Candidates Applicant under 1st to 3rd Posts should apply as per Annexure I only. The Candidates Applicant under 4th to 6th Posts should apply according to Annexure II only.
