HPPSC Recruitment 2023: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 360 Conductors on a contract basis in the pay band level-3 (Rs.20200-64000). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) portal available on the official website of the commission. As per HPPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the closing date for submission of online applications is May 1, 2023, till 11:59 PM.
As per HPPSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the recruitment is for Unreserved (130), Unreserved (Wards of Freedom Fighters) (4), Economically Weaker Section of H.P. (38), OBC of HP (63), OBC of HP (BPL) (13), OBC of HP (wards of freedom fighters) (2), Scheduled Caste of HP (73), Scheduled Caste of HP (BPL) (13), Scheduled Caste of HP (Wards of Freedom Fighters) (4), Scheduled Tribe of HP (15), Scheduled Tribe of HP (BPL) (5). The emoluments for the conductor post(s) shall be 60% of the fixed contractual salary of the corresponding cadre, as per the H.P. Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2022 as prescribed in the R & P Rules of the post in Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation under the Department of Transport, H.P.

However, there is a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit for the bonafide S.C. of H.P. / S.T. of H.P. / O.B.C. of H.P., etc. This relaxation is available only if there is a post reserved for these categories. The age of a candidate will be calculated as of 01.01.2023.

However, there is an additional eligibility condition that a candidate should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh to be eligible for appointment to this post. However, this condition does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
