HPSC Recruitment 2023: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates Eligible for Recruitment on the Assistant Scientist (Agriculture) Group-B Post in Haryana Space Applications Centre (HARSAC), Hisar under the Citizen Resources Information Department (CRID), Haryana notified through the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 10th March 2023 (10.03.2023).
As has been mentioned in the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, there is 01 Vacancy earmarked for Un-Reserved Category to be filled up by Appointment on the Assistant Scientist (Agriculture), Group-B in Haryana Space Applications Centre. According to the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued for Assistant Scientist (Agriculture) Group-B Post under Pay Scale Level 09 (Rs.15600-39100 Plus Grade Pay 7600), the Willing Candidates with Eligibility, therefore, willing to be Applicants, may complete the Online Application Process with Remittance of the Requisite Application/Examination Fee up to the Last Date 6th April 2023 (06.042023) as per the Instructions prescribed therein. Online Registration/Application Process shall commence from 17th March 2023 (17.03.2023).

Based on the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Candidate selected as Assistant Scientist (Agril) shall be entitled to the the Monthly Salary as enumerated here under:
Pay Scale: Level 09 (Corresponding to Pay Band-2 Rs 9300-34800 Plus GP Rs. 5400)
Appropriately Eligible Candidate selected as Assistant Scientist (Agriculture) shall be entitled to the Pay Scale Level mentioned hereinabove as is also notified in the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
Based on the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued General Merit Candidate as on the Closing Date of should be aged (to be read) as follows:
The Un-Reserved Category Candidate (As on 06.04.2023) should be aged Minimum 18 Years and must not exceed 40 Years.
As per the HPSC Recruitment 2023, the Eligible Candidates should have the Educational and Desirable Qualifications explained hereunder:
The Applications should have the following in possession:
Essential Qualification:
a) Master of Science/M.Sc (Agriculture) with 1st Class or Equivalent Degree in Agronomy/Plant Physiology/ Agricultural Physics/Agro-Meteorology/ Horticulture.
b) Studied Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculation Standard Or Hindi as one of the Subjects in Higher Education.
c) For the Assistant Scientist Post, Willing and Eligible Candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test/State Eligibility Test (NET/SET). Condition of the National Eligibility Test may be Exempted for the Subjects; viz., Remote Sensing/GIS/Geo-Informatics where no Agency had conducted the National Eligibility Test Examination.
d) Desirable: Post-Graduate Diploma/Degree (Geographic Information System) in Remote Sensing/GIS from any Accredited University/Institute.
Experience: 01-Year’s Experience in Application of Remote Sensing/GIS in Agriculture.
Preference will be given to the Candidates having knowledge in Computer Applications for the Assistant Scientist Position.
The HPSC shall reckon the Candidate’s Experience Post-gained Minimum Essential Qualifications.
Note: The HPSC shall not take into consideration Candidate’s Part-Time Experience for either Shortlisting or Selection Process involved. Only Experience acquired after the Minimum Essential Qualification will be considered.
Selection in Preference for selection on Assistant Scientist (Agriculture) will be given to the Candidates having knowledge in Computer Applications for the Assistant Scientist Position.

The HPSC Recruitment 2023 explains the Selection Criteria for the Assistant Scientist (Agriculture) in HARSAC as hereunder:
In the event of number of Applications received from the Candidates in large number, the Commission will adopt Shortlisting Criteria for restricting the number of Candidates to be called in for Interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following Recruitment Methods:
01) On the basis of the Candidate’s Percentage of Marks in the Minimum Educational Qualification prescribed in the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
02) On the basis of the Candidates’ Percentage of Marks in different Educational Qualifications, with due Weightage as decided by the HPSC.
03) On the basis of Desirable Qualifications or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications in case more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed.
04) Based on Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum/Essential Qualification prescribed in the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
05) On the basis of Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum Prescribed in the HPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification.
06) By counting Experience before or Post-acquired Minimum or the Essential Qualifications
07) By holding a Recruitment Test.
