Hyderabad Custom Seizes Smuggling Gold Worth Rs. 61.72 Lakhs
On 05.03.22 Hyderabad Customs booked a case against a male passenger for smuggling gold worth Rs. 61.72 lakhs.
The accused was arriving from Dubai by Emirates flight EK524.
Custom Officials recovered and seized total 1144 grams of gold worth Rs. 61.72 lakhs from the accused.
Gold was found concealed in specially stitched pocket of passenger innerwear.
Further investigation is under progress.
