Hyderabad Metro Rail Recruitment 2023: The Hyderabad Metro Rail, the world’s largest public-private partnership project, is currently recruiting for several positions in their maintenance and operations teams. The roles include the Signalling Team Leader, Rolling Stock Team Leader, Rolling Stock Engineer, AFC/COM Maintainer, Train Operator, AFC/COM System Analyst, PSS Engineer, PSS Team Leader, and MEP Team Leader.

The Signalling Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the delivery of the respective SIG/COM/AFC system in an operational state. They are expected to have at least 4 to 8 years of experience as a Diploma engineer in the maintenance of the respective SIG/COM/AFC system. The Rolling Stock Team Leader, on the other hand, is responsible for the maintenance of rolling stock in an operational state. They are expected to have at least 4-8 years of experience as a Degree/Diploma engineer in the field of Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance.

The Rolling Stock Engineer, meanwhile, is responsible for planning and creating regular preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per the Metro Maintenance System (MMS) in the Asset Management System (AMS) and vendors’ inspections. The AFC/COM Maintainer is responsible for maintaining the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and Communication (COM) systems, while the AFC/COM System Analyst is responsible for analyzing the AFC/COM systems and proposing solutions to any issues.

The PSS Team Leader and PSS Engineer are responsible for the maintenance of Platform Screen Doors (PSD) and are expected to have knowledge of EHS and good communication skills in both verbal and written forms. As per Hyderabad Metro Rail Recruitment 2023,  the Train Operator is responsible for operating the trains and ensuring a safe and efficient service for the passengers. Finally, the MEP Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the stations, depots, and OCC.

AFC stands for Automatic Fare Collection, COM stands for Communications, and SIG stands for Signaling. AFC/COM/SIG System Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the AFC, COM, and SIG systems. The incumbent should have at least five years of experience in DB administration/design, PL SQL, software development, C, C++, VB Net, and implementation of IT installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. They should also have exposure to data server management for various business applications. The role requires an engineering graduate with BE/B Tech in Computer Science (CSE)/IT/MCA and certification in hardware, networking, software, and database management.
