APSC Recruitment 2023: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced a job opening for Indian citizens to apply for various Junior Manager and Assitant Manager positions under the Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL). As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 109 vacancies available in this recruitment drive. The eligible candidates will be paid a salary within the range of Rs. 25,000.00 to Rs. 112000.00 per month, with grade pay of Rs. 12,100.00, to Rs. 14,200.00 in addition to the usual allowances under the rules of APGCL.

To be eligible, the candidate must hold a full-time diploma course in engineering from any Govt./Govt.-recognized/AICTE-approved polytechnic/institution, and the course duration should be at least three years after HSLC or equivalent. As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the candidates must not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as of January 1, 2023, and must be permanent residents of Assam. The upper age limit will be relaxed for candidates belonging to different categories, as per the Government notifications. The candidates must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes/Voter ID/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as proof of residency with the application. As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the starting date for online application is 11-05-2023, and the closing date for the same is 10.06-2023. The last date for payment of the application fee is 12-06-2023.

Age Limit for APSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age relaxation criteria for the Junior Manager posts in APGCL. As per the information provided, the minimum age limit for the candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 38 years as of 01-01-2023. However, there are certain relaxations available for candidates belonging to specific categories.

The age relaxation for SC/SIP/SIH candidates is 5 years, which means the maximum age limit for these candidates is 43 years. For OBC/MOBC candidates, the age relaxation is 3 years, and the maximum age limit is 41 years as per the government notification No. ABP 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.

Salary for APSC Recruitment 2023:

As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, the scale of pay for the Junior Manager post in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) is Rs. 25,000.00 to Rs. 92,000.00 with a grade pay of Rs. 12,100.00.

The scale of pay for the Assistant Manager post in Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) is Rs. 37,300. 00 to Rs. 1,12,000.00 with a grade pay of Rs. 14,200.00.

Educational Qualification for APSC Recruitment 2023:

As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, educational qualifications required for different posts:

Assistant Manager (Electrical): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Assistant Manager (Mechanical): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Assistant Manager (Civil): Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Junior Manager (Electrical): Full-time diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Junior Manager (Mechanical): Full-time diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Junior Manager (Civil): Full-time diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Junior Manager (IT): Full-time diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Whenever CGPA/OGPA/GPA or Letter Grade in the qualifying examination of courses is awarded, an equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated by the candidates in the online application form as per norms adopted by the University/Institute. The candidate will have to submit a copy of these norms with respect to his/her University/Institute at the time filling up of online application form. Where no norms have been specified, the CGPA/OGPA/GPA will be multiplied by a factor 10 and the sum will be subtracted by 5. The relevant mark sheet/certificate reflecting the subjects should be uploaded while applying for the post.

How to Apply for APSC Recruitment 2023:

As per APSC Recruitment 2023 official notification, to apply for the Junior Manager position, applicants must follow the online application process through APSC’s recruitment website. No other means or modes of application will be accepted, and any such attempts will be rejected.

If applicants have not already registered on the Online Recruitment Portal of APSC, they must do so by clicking on the “Register Here” link and completing the Time Registration (OTR) process by providing basic details. It is recommended that candidates register with a valid and active email address for communication purposes.

After creating an account, applicants need to log in with their credentials and provide their One Time Registration details, such as Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photo (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB and not older than 3 months), Signature (Min size-50 KB & Max size-200 KB), and other required documents. Once these details are submitted, applicants can download the One Time Registration details and click on the Applicant Section => Apply Section link to submit the application form. Interview schedule and requirements regarding the submission of certificates for claims made in the online application will be intimated to candidates through the Commission’s website in due course of time.
