ICAI Publishes Revised Handbook on GST Refunds
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently released a handbook on "Refunds under GST." This is the third edition of this book. However, the earlier editions were released in April 2020 and August 2021.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has updated its handbook on GST refunds to include the latest changes made by the government through new notifications and circulars. The revised handbook explains important topics such as how refunds are allowed based on GSTR-2B, how unregistered persons can claim refunds, special rules for the export of electricity, provisions related to deemed exports, and the new virtual process for handling refund applications.
The main purpose of this handbook is to help professionals understand GST refund rules more clearly. It presents the concepts, procedures, and practical aspects in a simple and easy-to-understand manner so that members can update their knowledge and resolve doubts related to refund claims efficiently.
