IDFC First Bank announces integration with GST Portal for Tax Payments IDFC First Bank announced the integration of its Internet banking and branch network channels with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) portal on Saturday, allowing for seamless GST payments. "Customers are going to benefit from an intuitive, hassle-free payment experience, with instant payment confirmations and convenient access to downloadable challans," according to a statement from the bank. This integration enables IDFC FIRST Bank customers to pay GST via a range of digital channels, including the bank's retail and business internet banking systems, as well as its nationwide branch network, IDFC FIRST Bank said in a press statement. The Head of Retail Liabilities and Branch Banking at IDFC First Bank, Chinmay Dhoble stated, "This integration with the GST portal is another step in our mission to provide universal banking solutions. Our goal is to provide a quick, straightforward, and efficient tax-paying experience."

"We encourage our customers to utilize this facility to easily pay their GST through our online and branch channels," he said.

Steps to Pay GST Using IDFC FIRST Bank Internet Banking

  • Log in to the GST portal.
  • Create a Challan and choose E-Payment with Net Banking.
  • Select IDFC FIRST Bank as your payment option.
  • Complete the payment and download the GST-paid challan.
