According to the official notification of IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023, there are 66 vacant seats available for the post of Technical Assistant, Junior Technical Officer, Technical Officer, Junior Superintendent (Hospitality) and Medical Officer (Psychiatry).

Age Limit for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023, the age limit for the mentioned post is given below-

• The maximum age limit for the post of Technical Assistant is 30 years.
• The maximum age limit for the post of Junior Technical Officer and Junior Superintendent is 35 years.
• The maximum age limit for the post of Technical Officer and Medical Officer is 45 years.

Qualification for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023, the required qualifications are mentioned below-

1. For Technical Assistant-

• Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry)/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification (AMIE) in Civil/ Mechanical/ Textiles/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Biochemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute. Or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry)/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or Diploma in Engineering/ Applied Science or equivalent in Civil/ Mechanical/ Textiles/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Biochemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute.

2. For Junior Technical Officer-

• Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry)/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or B.E/ B.Tech. or equivalent qualification (AMIE) in Civil/ Mechanical/ Textiles/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Biochemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with 01 year regular/permanent relevant experience. Or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry)/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or Diploma in Engineering/ Applied Science or equivalent in Civil/ Mechanical/ Textiles/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Biochemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Applied Physics/ Applied Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with 03 years regular/permanent relevant experience.

3. For Technical Officer-

• M.Tech. Degree in Engineering (MS(Research)/M.E.) or equivalent qualification in any specialization in Civil/ Mechanical/ Textiles/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Biochemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with 02 years regular/permanent relevant experience. Or
• Master’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry)/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent qualification (AMIE) in Civil/ Mechanical/ Textiles/ Biotechnology/ Chemical/ Biochemical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with 04 years regular/permanent relevant experience. Or
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Physics/ Chemistry)/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or equivalent qualifications in an appropriate field with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with regular/permanent 05 years of relevant experience.

4. For Junior Superintendent (Hospitality)-

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of regular/permanent relevant experience.

5. For Medical Officer (Psychiatry)-

• A recognized MBBS degree qualification is included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) and including completion of compulsory rotatory internship followed by at least 03 years of experience in a recognized hospital.

Desirable-

• 03 years of work experience in a medical college or large Govt./ recognized private Hospital.
• M.D. or M.S. in an appropriate branch of Medicine or diploma in the concerned specialty or Super-specialty mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule-VI of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare notification G.S.R. 272(E) dated 07.04.2022. Or
• Postgraduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine or diploma in the concerned specialty or Super-specialty mentioned in Section-A or Section-B in Schedule-VI of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare notification G.S.R. 272(E) dated 07.04.2022, plus at least 01-year experience in a recognized hospital.
• The above qualifications Diploma/ MD/ MS may preferably be in Psychiatry.

Salary for IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of IIT Delhi Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will get a monthly salary as under below-

• The selected candidates for the post of Technical Assistant should get a monthly salary on Level 5 of the pay matrix.
• The selected candidates for the post of Junior Technical Officer and Junior Superintendent should get a monthly salary on Level 6 of the pay matrix.
• The selected candidates for the post of Technical Officer and Medical Officer should get a monthly salary on Level 10 of the pay matrix.

Persons serving in Govt./Semi Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Organizations, should forward the printout of the completed application along with all the requisite documents (self-attested) through the proper channel within 10 days of the last date of submission of the Application Form, failing which such persons shall be required to produce NOC at the time of selection process, provided they must have sent an Advance Copy to the Recruitment Cell, Room No. 207/C-7, Adjoining to Dy.
