IIT (ISM) Recruitment 2022: The Office of Registrar (Accounting), Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, has sought Applications from the Regular Employees of the IIT (ISM) meeting Eligibility for the Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical) Posts through a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2022 as per the IIT (ISM) Recruitment 2022 Notification.
The Staff Personnel, who deem to have met the Eligibility may apply in Offline mode. Educational Qualification Post-Qualification Experience:
A) Assistant Engineer (Civil) Post:
Junior Engineer (Civil) working in IIT(ISM), Dhanbad having in possession
a) Regular Full Time 03-Years’ Diploma in Civil Engineering with Minimum 55% Marks from any duly accredited University/Institution with 03 Years’ relevant Experience as Junior Engineer (Civil) working in IIT(ISM), Dhanbad in the Revised Pay Level– 6 (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200) in the Grade.
b) Experience of working in MS Office and other Computer Software relevant to the Work/Specialization Domain.
Desirable:
a) Experience in Construction and Maintenance of Buildings, Roads, Water supply, Drainage works, etc., after completion of the Degree/Diploma.
b) Knowledge of working on Computers and Auto CAD.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) Post:
Junior Engineer (Electrical) working in IIT(ISM), Dhanbad having in possession
a) Regular Full Time 03-Years’ Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Minimum 55% Marks from any duly accredited University/Institution with 03 Years’ relevant Experience as a Junior Engineer (Electrical) working in IIT (ISM), Dhanbad in the Revised Pay Level-6 (Pre-revised Pay Band-2 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200) in the Grade.
b) Experience of working in MS Office and other Computer Software relevant to the Work/Specialization Domain.
Desirable:
a) Experience in a) Electrical Maintenance and Project Execution of Works related to Internal Electrical Installation, HT/LT Power Distribution including Sub-Station and Power Factor Management, Water Pumping System, Street Lighting, etc.; Design Estimation, Tendering & Billing of Electrical Works;
b) Bureau of Energy Efficiency Certified Energy Manager/Energy Auditor;
c) Experience in Illumination Design;
d) Experience in handling and maintaining Electrical Services;
e) Knowledge of Computer Applications
The Selection Process on to Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical) Posts, as notified vide IIT (ISM) Recruitment 2022, will be carried through in compliance with the Provisions explained in the “Cadre Structure and Recruitment Rules and Promotion Policy for Non-Teaching Posts” of IIT(ISM) available on the IIT (ISM) Website and relevant Government Rules.
The Controller of Examinations shall conduct a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination comprising a Single Paper Test with 02 Parts for 100 Marks therein as follows:
Part I: Written Examination for 80 Marks
Part II: Computer Proficiency Test/Trade Test for 20 Marks
