Indian Army Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Defence, Government of India has invited Applications in the Prescribed Proforma from the Young Candidates for Recruitment on 03 Civilian Posts 01) Stenographer Grade II, 02) Lower Division Clerk and 03) Messenger with 01 Vacancy each, totaling 03 Vacancies through this Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 25.03.2023. As has been notified in the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Eligible Candidates with Interest for to-be Applied Posts should complete the Application Submission process as per the Prescribed Specimen Proformae within 21 and 28 Days post-issuance thereof.
Based on the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, all 03 Posts I) Stenographer, II) Lower Division Clerk and III) Messenger carry variable Pay Scales explained in the subsequent Sections:
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, there are 03 Vacancies with Posts and Vacancies mentioned hereunder:
01) Stenographer (Grade II): 01 Vacancy
02) Lower Division Clerk: 01 Vacancy
03) Messenger: 01 Vacancy
Posting Situations: Colonel (General Staff), Head-Quarters 111 Sub-Area, Station Cell Bengdubi Military Station and Station Head Quarter Binnaguri (West Bengal)
As has been notified in the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Following 03 Posts carry the Pay Matrix with the Monthly Salaries:
01) Stenographer (Grade II): Level-04 (Rupees 25500-81100) with In Hand Monthly Salary Rs.25500
02) Lower Division Clerk: Level-02 (Rupees 19900-63200) with In Hand Monthly Salary Rs.19900
03) Messenger: 01 Level-01 (Rupees 18000-56900) with In Hand Monthly Salary Rs.18000
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limit determined in common as on the Closing Dates for 03 Posts 1) Stenographer Grade-II, 2) Lower Division Clerk and 3) Messenger is as follows:
Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years.
Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit in respect of the Central Government Civilian Employees having rendered Minimum 03 Years’ Regular and Continuous Service is up to 35 Years.
I) Stenographer Grade II Post:
a) Educational Qualification: Passed out 12th Class/Intermediate or Equivalent from Duly Recognized University/Board.
Essential: Skill Test Norms (Dictation with Transcription)
II) Lower Division Clerk Post:
a) Educational Qualification: Passed out 12th Class/Intermediate or Equivalent from Duly Recognized University/Board.
b) Desirable: Computer-Based Hindi/English Typewriting Speed @ 30/35 Words Per Minute
c) Basic Computer Knowledge
Essential: Skill Test Norm: Computer-Based Typewriting Speed Test
III) Messenger Post:
a) Passed out 10th Class/Matriculate or Equivalent from Duly Recognized University/Board.
b) Physical Standard and Skill Test Norms: i) Proficiency in driving a Pedal Cycle for 200 Meters.
ii) Ability to read and write with Average Physical Conditions and Aptitude for the Messenger Post.
The Selection Procedure for all 03 Posts; 1) Stenographer Grade II, 2) Lower Division Clerk and 3) Messenger comprises 02 Stages followed by Documentation and Medical Examination, etc.
02 Stages consisting of Stage 1 an OMR Response Sheet Based and Stage 2 Skill Test and Physical Efficiency Test. For a) Stenographer Grade II, b) and Lower Division Clerk, the OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Test will comprise Tests on 03 Subjects for 200 Marks (50+50+100) Marks. For iii) Messenger Post the OMR Answer Sheet Based Written Test for 100 (15+15+30+30) Marks for 04 Subject Test Sections.
Minimum Pass Marks: The Minimum Qualifying Percentage required is 40% in Aggregate.
Final Selection on to the Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk and Messenger Posts shall be strictly based on Merit determined by taking into account the Minimum Pass Marks and Higher/Above obtained in the Written Test. The Skill Tests and Physical Efficiency Test prescribed for all 03 Posts is Mandatory to be passed and remain Qualifying in nature.
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Eligible Candidates with Interest for the Posts should address the Duly completed Applications with Self-Attested Copies of the Documents As Applicable should be addressed to as follows:

The Colonel (General Staff), Head-Quarters 111 Sub-Area, Bengdubi Military Station, Post Office- Bengdubi, District- Darjeeling, Pin-734 424 (West Bengal) through Registered Post with Acknowledgment Due/Speed Post only.
The Candidates have to attach Self-attested Copies of following documents, As Applicable, attached with (Size 12 X 18 Cm) 01 (One) x Self-addressed Registered Envelope with Rs.25 Postage Stamps. The Candidates should not send Original Certificates with their respective Applications:
i) Birth Date Certificate.
ii) Medical Certificate from issued by any Registered Medical Practitioner for Physical Fitness.
iii) Caste Certificate as per Appendix ‘B’
iv) Willingness Certificate as per Appendix ‘C’.
v) Self-attested copy of Any Identification/Identity Proof issued by the Government of India/State Government (Voter Card/Driving License/Passport) or Copy of Aadhar Card.
vi) Educational Certificates with the Marksheets (Matriculation onwards).
vii) Domicile Certificate (for Residents of Jammu Union Territory, Kashmir Union Territory, and Ladakh Union Territory availing Age Relaxation, as applicable).
viii) 03 (Three) Additional Passport Size Photographs.
Note: Central Government Civilian Employees must furnish No Objection Certificate from their Employer/Office with Application Failing so, their Candidatures will be Cancelled.
