Indian Army Recruitment 2024: The Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Head Quarter (IHQ), Ministry of Defence, Government of India has sought Online Applications from Unmarried Male and Female Genders (including Wards of Indian Army Personnel Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel) with the Eligibility for NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April 2024) for Grant of Short Service Commission (NT) For Men and Women (Including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel) in the Indian Army vide the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification. The Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification has arisen for 55 Vacancies for NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April 2024) for Grant of Short Service Commission (NT) For Men and Women (Including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel) For Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army.
Gender-specific Vacancies Bifurcation is as follows:
I) NCC (National Cadet Corps) Men: 50 Vacancies (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel only) II) NCC (National Cadet Corps) Women: 05 Vacancies (04 for General Category and 01 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel only).
The Notified Posts under the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification issued for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April 2024) for Grant of Short Service Commission, shall be filled up under Pay Matrix Level 10 (Rs.56100) Per Month.
As has been noted in the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Employment Notice in respect of the NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April-24), Online Recruitment Application is already in progress. Accordingly, the Last Date for completion of the Online Recruitment Application shall terminate on 03.08.2023. According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification, Willing and Eligible Youth may initiate the Online Application Process for Notified NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April 2024).
As may be referred to in the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 for NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April 2024), the Candidate selected for Grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) shall be entitled to a Monthly Stipend to Gentleman Cadets during the Entire Duration of Training in Service Academy, i.e., during the Training Period in the Officers Training Academy (OTA) shall be Rs. 56100 Per Month*(Starting Pay in Level 10). Based on the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Advertisement, Selected Candidates will be awarded Short Service Commission notified therein.
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Advertisement, there are 07 Vacancies to be filled up as explained hereunder:

Vacancies Bifurcation:
I) NCC Men: 50 (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel only) Vacancies.
II) NCC Women: 05 (04 for General Category and 01 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel only) Vacancies.
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification, Post-Selection of the Candidates for Short Service Commission, the Monthly Stipend shall accrue to them as explained hereunder:
Stipend to Gentleman Cadets during the Entire Duration of Training in Service Academy, i.e., during the Training Period in the Officers Training Academy shall be Rs. 56100 Per Month*(Starting Pay in Level 10).
As per the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification, the Age Limit as on 01.01.2024 should be as explained hereunder:
Age Limit: Minimum 19 Years and Maximum 25 Years (*Candidates born neither Earlier than 02.01.1999 nor Later than 01.01.2005, Both Dates Inclusive).
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Advertisement, the Educational Qualification required is as explained hereunder:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Law with Minimum 50% Marks from any Accredited University/Equivalent Institute
starting in a Particular Year.
NCC Service: Should have served for Minimum 02/03 Years (as Senior Division/Wing of the NCC.
Grading: Should have obtained Minimum ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Examination of the National Cadet Corps.
Note: NCC ‘C’ Certificate NOT REQUIRED for Wards of Battle Casualties.
Note: The Candidates must take note that they may appear for ONLY one of the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interviews, either SSC (NT)-119 Course (April 2024) /SSC (NT) (Women-33 Course (Apr 2024) as CDSE Candidate Or National Cadet Corps (Special) 55 Course (April- 2024). The Candidates would need to submit/give Undertaking to this effect under the Declaration part of the Online Application.
The Final Allocation of Arms/Services will be carried through prior to passing-out of the Gentleman and Madam Cadets from the Officers Training Academy (OTA) and will remain at the Sole Discretion of the Integrated Head Quarter of the Ministry of Defence (Army) keeping in view the existing Policy. The Candidate must/should not have any Objection in the event of his Final Selection on Allotment of any Arms/Service in the interest of the Organisation.
The Final Allocation of Arms/Services will be made prior to Passing out of Gentlemen/Lady Cadets from the Officers Training Academy.
The Candidates under NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course (April 2024) Course declared Medically Fit shall be recommended by the SSB and will be issued Joining Letters for Training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all Eligibility Criteria.
Based on the Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Official Notification, Online Application Process is Mandatory by the Candidates.

Click on ‘Officer Entry Application/Login’ and then Click ‘Registration’ (Registrations not required, if already registered on joinindianarmy.nic.in. Fill out the Online Registration Form after Carefully reading the Instructions. After getting Registered, Click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard. A Page ‘Officers Selection – ‘Eligibility’ will open. Then Click ‘Apply’ shown against Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course. A Page ‘Application Form’ will open. Carefully Read the Instructions and Click ‘Continue’ to fill up the details as required under various segments.
Personal Information, Communication details, Education Details and Details of Previous SSB. ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next Segment. After filling up the details on the Last Segment, you will move on to a Page ‘Summary of your Information’ wherein you may check out and edit the Entries already made. Only after ascertaining the Correctness of all your Details, Click on ‘Submit’. Candidates must click on ‘Submit’ each time they open the Application for Editing any details. The Candidates need to take out 02 Copies of their Application having Roll Number, 30 Minutes after Final Closure of the Online Application on the Last Day.
