Monthly Salary under TNPSC Recruitment 2023:

Based on the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for Research Assistants to be filled in different Services, Post-Appointments has the following Pay Scale Levels with the Monthly Salaries for the Candidates, who shall be entitled to the same as hereunder:

i) Non-Interview Posts in Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Subordinate Service (Code No.066)

Pay Scale: Level-15 (Rs.36200 to 133100)

ii) Interview Posts in Tamil Nadu General Subordinate Service (Code No.036)

Pay Scale: Level-18 (Rs.36900 to 116600)

Upper Age Limits for TNPSC Recruitment 2023:

The TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification mandates the Age Limits for Un-Reserved Category Applicants and Reserved Community Candidates to be reckoned as on 01.07.2023 to be read as follows:

Age Limits: Any Open Market Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years and should not exceed 32 Years.

Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates is admissible. There is No Maximum Age Limit for such Reserved Community Candidates as is mentioned in the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Recruitment 2023:

The TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement mandates the Eligibility comprising Educational Qualifications explained hereunder:

A Master’s Degree in the First/Second Class in the Post-related Concerned Branch of Studies (termed as the Main Subject) from any Duly Recognized University or Institution.

Note: As regards, Research Assistant (in Statistics) Post narrates that provided that other things being Equal, Persons (with Requisite Experience in Statistical Investigation or in Analysis of Statistical Work for 01 Year, shall be given Preference for Selection.

Desirable: Applicants should possess Adequate Knowledge in Tamil.

Selection Procedure under TNPSC Recruitment 2023:

Selection for 02 Research Assistant Posts Posts remains Interview-Based. However, the Selection Procedure for 04 Posts of Research Assistant, which are Non-Interview, shall be carried out by a Computer-Based Recruitment Examination and Interview and Records. The Computer Based Test comprising 02 Papers to be held in 02 Shifts for 450 (300+150) Marks followed by Interview and Records for 60 Marks.

As per the TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, any Un-Reserved/Open Market Candidates for Non-Interview Recruitment shall have to obtain Minimum Qualifying 180 Marks. The Minimum Pass Marks to be scored by any Reserved Community Candidate are 135 Marks to be shortlisted for subsequent Interviews.

Any Un-Reserved/Open Market Candidates for Interview-Based Recruitment shall have to obtain Minimum Qualifying 204 Marks. The Minimum Pass Marks to be scored by any Reserved Community Candidate are 153 Marks to be shortlisted for subsequent Interviews.

Note:
a) Minimum Qualifying 60 Marks (40% of 150) Marks secured in Part-A of Paper-II will not be taken into account for ranking.

b) The Marks secured in Paper-I and Part-B of Paper-II will only be considered for ranking.

Examination Fee for TNPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to TNPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, any Applicant should One Time Registration and Examination Fee as follows:

i) One-Time Registration Fee: Rs.150

ii) Examination Fee: Rs.150

First Time Applicant shall have to pay the One-Time Registration Fee.
