Indian Post Recruitment 2023: The Haryana Postal Circle has announced two vacancies for the post of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) in the Pay Matrix Level-02 (19900-63200) as per 7 CPC. The position is open for eligible officials on Deputation/Absorption basis in the Department of Posts. As per Indian Post Recruitment 2023 official notification, the vacancies will be filled on the basis of a Trade Test/Driving Test to assess the competence to drive light and heavy Motor Vehicle as per the Pattern and Syllabus notified by the Postal Directorate. The application deadline is 10.05.2023.

As per Indian Post Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility conditions state that the position is open for regular Dispatch Rider (Group ‘C’) and Group C employees in the Pay Matrix Level-01 (18000-56900) who possess a valid Driving License for light and heavy Motor Vehicle. The age limit for appointment by deputation/absorption shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The period of deputation, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

As per Indian Post Recruitment 2023 official notification, interested and eligible candidates should submit their applications (in duplicate) in the prescribed proforma along with necessary documents/certificates mentioned at the end of the Annexure and relevant documents in support of qualification and experience. The applications should be forwarded to The Assistant Director Postal Services-I, O/o the Chief Postmaster General, Haryana Circle, The Mall, Ambala Cantt-133001, through proper channel positively by 10.05.2023. Applications not forwarded through proper channel or those received without the requisite certificate and necessary documents or received after the due date will not be entertained.

Age Limit for Indian Post Recruitment 2023:

As per Indian Post Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for appointment by deputation/absorption shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Post Recruitment 2023:

As per Indian Post Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility conditions for the Deputation/Absorption of officials in the Department of Posts state that the candidate must be a regular Dispatch Rider (Group “C”) or Group ‘C’ employee in the Pay Matrix Level-01 (18000-56900) as per 7 CPC in the Department of Posts. In addition, the candidate must possess a valid Driving License for light and heavy Motor Vehicle on the basis of a Trade Test/ Driving Test to assess the competence to drive light and heavy Motor Vehicle. It is important to note that the test will be conducted by the Department as per the Pattern and Syllabus notified vide Postal Directorate F. No. 08-01/2019-SPN-I dated 17.06.2022 (Annexure III to this notification).

Period of Deputation for Indian Post Recruitment 2023:

As per Indian Post Recruitment 2023 official notification, the period of deputation for the officials in the Department of Posts, including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed three years. This means that the maximum duration for which an official can be on deputation is three years. However, the competent authority may extend the period of deputation in exceptional cases, as per the rules and regulations of the Department of Posts.
