INSA Recruitment 2022: The Indian National Science Academy (INSA) has invited Applications from the Officers Eligible for the Posts; viz., 01) Deputy Executive Director, Grade-II 02) Assistant Executive Director, Grade-I and 03) Assistant Executive Director, Grade-II in Offline Form. The Officers, who deem to have met the Eligibility Criteria, may apply up to 22nd August 2022 (22.08.2022) for Recruitment. The Officers may apply with duly completed Applications and Testimonials put into an Envelope superscribing the Post Name.

Note: The Officers should mail their Applications with No Objection Certificate and through Proper Channel by India Post Registered/Speed Post.  Essential Documents to be enclosed with the Applications are as follows:

i) Duly filled-up Applications annexed with Self-attested Most Recent Photograph (Affixed in the right Space of the Application Form)

ii) Application Fee (Case Specific) in the form of Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque.

iii) Self-Attested Photocopies of the Educational Certificates and Marksheets (starting from Matriculation onwards). The Matriculation Certificate will be treated as Birth-Date Certificate.

iv) Self-Attested Photocopies of Experience Certificate.

v) Preceding 5-Years’ Attested Photocopies of Annual Confidential Report (ACR)/Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs)

vi) Ex Servicemen/PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable)

vii) Any other relevant certificate (as mentioned in the Application form)

viii) Caste and Community Certificates (SC/ST/OBC Candidates) (as applicable for Appointment to the Posts under the Government of India)

Selection Process: Selection to the INSA notified Posts shall be through a Common Written Test and/or Personal Interviews.

Designated Post Names and Vacancies:

Total 03 Vacancies earmarked for Un-Reserved Category Applicants.

01. Deputy Executive Director, Grade-II Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) (Group A): 01 Vacancy

02. Assistant Executive Director, Grade-I Level 11 (Rs. 67700 to Rs.208700) (Group A): 01 Vacancy

03. Assistant Executive Director, Grade-II Level 10 (Rs. 56100 to Rs.177500) (Group A): 01 Vacancy

Age Limits: Other than Un-Reserved Categories, Relaxation in Upper Age Limits for Reserved Communities mentioned in the Advertisement. 

Deputy Executive Director, Grade-II Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) (Group A)

Age Limit: Not to exceed 50 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limitation for Reserved Communities.

Essential Qualification & Experience: The Officers should have in possession the following:

i) Master’s Degree in Science or Technology with Minimum 60% Marks from any Duly Recognized University.

ii) Minimum 10 Years’ Post-Qualifications Experience in Scientific Administration, including Promotion of Science in responsible position out of which at least 5 years’ Experience should be at posts in Level 11 in the Pay Matrix/Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600 to Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 (Pre-Revised) in Central Government/ State Government/Union Territories/Autonomous Organizations/Statutory Bodies/Universities with working knowledge of Computer Applications.

Desirable: Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D.) in any Discipline/Branch of Science and Proficiency in Digital Communications.

For the Post of Assistant Executive Director, Grade-I (Level 11)

Age Limit: Not to exceed 40 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limitation for Reserved Communities.

Essential Qualification & Experience:

i) Master’s Degree in Science or Technology with Minimum 60% Marks from any Duly Recognized University.

ii) Minimum 05 Years’ Post-Qualifications experience in Scientific Administration, including Promotion of Science in Responsible Position in the Posts in Level 10 in Pay Matrix/Pay Band-3 Rs.15600 to Rs.39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 (Pre-Revised) in Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Autonomous Organization/ Statutory Bodies/Universities with Working Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Desirable: Doctor Philosophiae (Ph.D.) in any Discipline/Branch of Science and Proficiency in Digital Communications.

For the Post of Assistant Executive Director, Grade-II

Age Limit: Not to exceed 35 Years. Relaxation in Upper Age Limitation for Reserved Communities.

Essential Qualification & Experience:

i) Master’s Degree with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University.

ii) Minimum 02 Years’ Post-Qualification Experience in Office Management in Responsible Position at Posts in Level 9 in Pay Matrix/Grade Pay of Rs.5400 in Pay Band 2 Rs.9300 to Rs.34800 Or 03 Years’ Experience in Posts in Level 8 in Pay Matrix/Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 in Pay Band 2 Rs.9300 to Rs.34800 in Central Government/State Government/Union Territories/Autonomous Organizations/Statutory Bodies/ Universities with Working Knowledge of Computer Applications.

Desirable:

i) Master of Business Administration

ii) Fairly Good Knowledge of Personnel/Financial/General Administration Rules of the Government of India.
