Age Limit for IRDAI Recruitment 2023:

As per IRDAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the age limit for the post of Assistant Manager in IRDAI is between 21 and 30 years as of 10.05.2023.

This means that candidates should have been born not earlier than 11.05.1993 and not later than 10.05.2002, both days inclusive. It is important for applicants to note that any date of birth outside of this range will render them ineligible for the post.

Educational qualification for IRDAI Recruitment 2023:

As per IRDAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, here are the educational qualifications required for each post:

Actuarial (5 posts): Candidates must have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks and must have passed 7 papers of IAI (Institute of Actuaries of India) as per the 2019 curriculum.

Finance (5 posts): Candidates must have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks and must be a member of any one of the following professional bodies: ACA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India), AICWA (Institute of Cost Accountants of India), ACMA (Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India), ACS (Institute of Company Secretaries of India), or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).

Law (5 posts): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of 60% marks.

IT (5 posts): Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering) with a minimum of 60% marks, OR a Master’s degree in Computer Application with a minimum of 60% marks, OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a post-graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers/Information Technology with a minimum of 60% marks.

Research (5 posts): Candidates must have a Master’s degree or 2-year Post Graduate Diploma in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics/Mathematical Economics/Integrated Economics Course/Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 60% marks.

Generalist (20 posts): Candidates must have a Graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks.

Selection Process for IRDAI Recruitment 2023:

As per IRDAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selection process for a competitive examination involves three phases: an online preliminary examination, a descriptive examination, and an interview. The online preliminary examination will consist of four objective tests that include reasoning, English language, general awareness, and quantitative aptitude.

The candidates have to qualify for each of the four tests separately and in aggregate. The descriptive examination consists of three papers, namely, English, Economic and Social Issues Impacting Insurance, and Insurance and Management. The candidates who have been shortlisted based on their aggregate marks obtained in Papers I, II, and III of Phase II will be called for an interview.

The final selection will be based on the performance and merit of the candidates in both the descriptive examination and the interview. The selection process also includes separate cut-offs for each specialized stream and general stream. The syllabus for the descriptive examination is given in Annexure-2, and the examination will be conducted in English and Hindi.
