ITBP Recruitment 2023 for 71 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualification, Eligibility, Other Details
ITBP Recruitment 2023: The Director Inspector General (Recruitment), Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India (MHA, GoI), has sought Online Applications from Meritorious Sportspersons (Male and Female Genders) meeting Eligibility for “Recruitment of Meritorious Sportspersons to the Post Constable (General Duty) under Sports Quota-2022 in ITBP Force”.
According to the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 71 Vacancies under Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted & Non-Ministerial) under the Sports Quota in Multiple Sports Disciplines in the Pay Scale Level 03 to be filled up in the ratio of 45 Vacancies (Men) and 26 Vacancies (Women) in different Sports Events.
Among the Eligible Candidates with Willingness, the Individuals may complete the Online Registration/Application Process following the Instructions in the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for the purpose. The Online Application and Registration shall go live from 20th February 2023 (20.02.2023) onwards. The Last Date for Online Registration/ Application Process is 21st March 2023 (21.03.2023).

According to the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification, 71 Vacancies under 10 Sports Events comprise Gender-specific Vacancies explained hereunder:

As per the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification issued for Recruitment on Constable (General Duty) Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial)/(NG & NM) Posts under the Sports Quota in the Sports Disciplines notified vide the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Pay Matrix Scale applicable to the Personnel would be as hereunder:
Pay Scale: Level 03 (Rs 21700 – 69100) in the Pay Matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.
According to the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Advertisement for Constable (General Duty) Sports-Persons, the General Merit Candidates should be aged as hereunder:
1) The Un-Reserved Category Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 23 Years.
2) Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates is as per the India Government Rules.
Detailed Eligibility including Sports Qualifications, Physical Standards, etc., is explained in the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification for the ready reference of the Candidates.
Sports Qualifications: Only Sportspersons having participated/won Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals in the Competition Levels mentioned in the Tabular Formats during the period 01.01.2021 until 21.03.2023 may apply.

Female Gender: 157 Cms/155 Cms/152.5 Cms/150 Cms

Male and Female Gender: Proportionate to Height and Age as per the Medical Standards applicable to the Man and Woman Genders.
As per the ITBP Recruitment 2023 Notification, the Selection Process for Selection on Constable (General Duty) involved shall consist of I) Documentation (Testimonial/Document Verification), II) Physical Standard Measurement Tests (PST) for Maximum 100 Marks and III) Trial Test for 50 Marks, V) Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/Review Medical Examination (RME). The Trial Tests will be conducted in Hockey, Kabaddi, Football, Volleyball and Equestrian Sporting Events.
Final Merit List shall be drawn up based on the Marks obtained in I) Documentation (Due Weightage of Marks allocated for God, Silver, Bronze and Sports Participation) and II) Trial Test taken together. The Candidates would be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination on the basis of the Merit determined.
Tie-Breaking: In the case of Tie Persisting, the Case would be resolved in order of i) Higher Marks; ii) Achievement in the Competition, iii) Age Priority/Preference and iv) Candidate’s Name in the Alphabetical Order in English to be given Priority.
Based on the information for Application Fee Remittance, the Candidates shall need to pay Online through the Payment Gateway Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred) only.
