JPSC Recruitment 2023: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has invited Online Applications from the Teaching Faculty Candidates Eligible for Direct Recruitment on to the Post Principal/Rector in 59 State/Government-Aided (+2) Schools operational under the School Education and Literacy Department (Secondary Education Directorate) vide the JPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 29.03.2023. The Principals with Minimum 08-Years’ Teaching Experience in the Subject of Teaching for Appointment are Eligible to apply for the JPSC notified Senior Secondary/Intermediate School Principal Posts.
Based on the JPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, there are 39 Vacancies under the Pay Scale Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay 7600. As has been notified in the JPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement the Online Registration Process shall proceed as follows:

As per the JPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, Stipulated Monthly Salary Pay Scale accruing to the Principal Designated shall be hereunder:

Educational and Professional Qualifications:
Note*: Detailed Educational Qualifications with other Criteria including Experience desirable for the JPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for the Post Principal are explained hereunder:
Educational and Professional Qualifications: Post Graduation with Minimum 50% Marks and a Bachelor of Education accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Experience: Minimum 08-Years’ Teaching Experience in the Subject of Teaching for Appointment are Eligible to apply for the JPSC notified Senior Secondary/Intermediate School Principal Posts.
Selection on the Post Principal shall be based on the Merit determined resulted from the Marks in the Single Test Paper. The Single Test Paper consists of an Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions Based Single Paper with 02 Questions Paper for Aggregate 500 Marks. Each Question Paper spans 03-Hours Examination Duration.
Paper-I: General Studies: 200 Marks
Paper-II: PG Subject of Teaching: 300 Marks
Minimum Pass Marks: In order to be considered Eligible for further Selection Purpose, the Candidates should obtain the Minimum Qualifying Marks as follows:
i) Un-Reserved Category Candidates: 50% Marks (in each Test Question Paper and also in Aggregate in the Single Test Question Papers)
ii) EBC and OBC Candidates: 50% Marks (in each Test Question Paper and also in Aggregate in the Single Test Question Papers)
iii) Reserved Community Candidates: 45% Marks
It would be Mandatory for the Un-Reserved Category Candidates to secure Minimum Qualifying 50% Marks in each Paper.
TIE Resolving Methodology: In case of Equal Marks obtained by more than One (01) Candidate, the Merit shall be stipulated Birth Date (Seniority), Post Graduate Qualification Marks.
Selection Criteria for Sports-Persons Quota:
Sports Achievements in respect of Meritorious Sportsmanship:
01: “Medal” in the International Olympic Committee or Affiliated Federation organized Sports Event;
02: “1st Position” in the Indian Olympic Committee or Affiliated Federation held National Championship Level Competition
03: “World Record” in the National Level Competition
Based on the JPSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Examination Fee stipulated for the Candidates to be remitted through Payment Gateways Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking through SBI Collect Challan as follows:
I) Un-Reserved Category Candidates: Rs. 600 Plus Bank Charges
II) EWS Category Candidates: Rs.600 Plus Bank Charges
III) EBC Category Candidates: Rs.600 Plus Bank Charges
IV) Jharkhand State Resident SC/ST Persons: Rs.150 Plus Bank Charges
