JSSC Recruitment 2023: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates for 01) Junior Engineers and 02) Motor Vehicle Inspector with 1551 Vacancies in 13 Departments for Selection through the Jharkhand Diploma Level Combined Competitive Examination (JDLCCE) – 2023 (Regular) vide the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 16.05.2023.  Based on the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement for JDLCCE 2023, there are 1551 Vacancies against Notified Posts Junior Engineers (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering)  and Motor Vehicles Inspector (Mechanical and Automobile Engineering) under Regular and Backlog Recruitment 2023 Drive.

As per the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for JSSC JDLCEE-2023 for Regular (Direct Recruitment) in the Pay Matrix Levels 06/04/02 (Rs.35400 to 112400); (Rs. 25500 to 81100) and (19900-63200), Online Application shall commence from 25.06.2023 with the Last Date for Eligible Candidates with Willingness to complete the Online Registration Process up to 24.06.2023. As is also notified in the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Recruitment Notification, Post Online Application and Registration Process completion, the Last Date for Online Application Printout begins from 26.06.2023 with the End Date terminating on 28.06.2023. The Candidates may carry out the Rectifications in the Online Applications from 29.06.2023 to 01.07.2023.

Upper Age Limits for JSSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Age Limits according to the Dates for Open Merit/General Merit Candidates is as follows:

I) Un-Reserved Candidate should be Minimum 21 Years (As on 01.01.2023) and Maximum 40 Years (As on 01.08.2019).

II) EWS Candidate should be Minimum 18 Years (As on 01.01.2023) and Maximum 35 Years

Relaxations in the Upper Age Limits for Reserved Community Candidates as per Government Rule.

Eligibility for JSSC Recruitment 2023:

Essential Qualifications for the :

For 1st and 2nd Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted) Posts (Street Light Inspector and Pipeline Inspector):

Educational Qualification: Diploma in the Post-related Trade from any Duly Recognized University/Institute/ITI Pass out.

For 3rd to 6th Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) Posts (Junior Engineer in Various Departments):

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in the Post-related Trade from any Duly Recognized University/Institute established by Law and Duly Recognized by the Central Government/State Government/All-India Council for Technical Education.

Note: The Candidates with Higher Qualifications are also Eligible to Apply.

For 7th Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted) Post (Motor Vehicle Inspector )

Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in the Post-related Trade from any Duly Recognized University/Institute established by Law and Duly Recognized by the Central Government/State Government/All-India Council for Technical Education.

Desirable: Technical Qualification; i.e., Driving License for operating Geared Motorbike/Motor-Cycle and Light Motor Vehicle with an Authorized Driving License.

Sports Achievements in respect of Meritorious Sportsmanship and Direct Recruitment:

01: “Medal” in the International Olympic Committee or Affiliated Federation organized Sports Event;
02: “1st Position” in the Indian Olympic Committee or Affiliated Federation held National Championship Level Competition
03: “World Record” in the National Level Competition

Selection Criteria under JSSC Recruitment 2023:

The Selection Process for JDLCCE 2023 shall comprise One Single Paper comprising 02 Parts to be held in a Computer Based Recruitment Test for 360 Marks. The Single Main Examination consisting of 02 Papers with 03 Hours’ Examination Duration for each Paper shall be as explained hereunder:

Paper I: General Engineering:  80 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions = 240 Marks

Paper II: General Knowledge Test Paper: 40 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions = 120 Marks

There shall be No Negative Marks for Incorrect Answers/Multiple Papers. In order to be considered for the Selection Process, General (Un-Reserved) Category Candidates should obtain Minimum 33% Pass Marks in Paper-I and Minimum Qualifying 50% Marks.

Final Selection for JDLCCE shall be on Merit determined taking into account the Marks scored in the Main Examination Paper. The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission would prepare a Common Merit List and Merit-cum-Option List.

Examination Fee for JSSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the JSSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Examination Fee Amounts to be remitted Online through the Payment Gateway are as follows:

I) Un-Reserved Category Candidate: Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred) only.

II) Jharkhand State SC/ST Candidates: Rs. 50 (Rupees Fifty) only
