Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023: The Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC) has invited Online Applications from the Candidates by “One-Time Registration” from the Candidates Qualified for 17 Part-Time Higher Secondary School (Junior Arabic) Teachers Posts under the Pay Scale Rs.45600-95600 through the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification. According to the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement Dated 15th March 2023 (15.03.2023), Interested and Eligible Reserved Community (SC, ST) Candidates of Kerala State for Appointment in the Kerala Government Service.
Based on the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement issued the Eligible Candidates duly satisfying the Eligibility those who intend to apply may apply as per the Instructions for Online Application Process through the One-Time Process up to the Last Date 19th April 2023 (19.04.2023).
According to the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, there are 15 Vacancies reserved for SC and ST Candidates.

Based on the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Pay Scale applicable to the Selected Candidates mentioned hereunder:
Pay Scale: Rs. 45600-95600
As per the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Age Limits applicable to Reserved Communities explained are hereunder
Minimum 20 Years and Maximum 45 Years.
In view of the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Eligible Candidates should have in possession the following:
i) Master’s Degree in the Concerned Subject with Minimum 45% Marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or any Qualification(s) recognized as Equivalent thereto in the respective Subject by any University in Kerala.
ii-a) B.Ed. in the Concerned Subject gained Post Regular Course of Study from any of the Universities in Kerala or any Qualification(s) recognized as Equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala.
b) In case of Non-availability of the Persons with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Degree in the Concerned Subject, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the Concerned Faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
c) In case of non-availability of the Persons having B.Ed. Degree in possession as specified in Item ‘a’ and ‘b’ hereinabove, the Persons with B.Ed. Degree in any Subject(s) gained after a Regular Course of Study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a Qualification recognized as Equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. Or
iii) Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the Post of Higher Secondary School Teachers (Hr SST) conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government.
Note 1: Persons who have gained M.Ed. in the Concerned Subject recognized by any University in Kerala remain Exempted from B.Ed. Qualification.
Exemptions:
Those having passed Language Teachers Training Course are exempted from acquiring B.Ed. Qualification.
Persons having acquired M.Ed in the concerned Subject duly recognized by any University in Kerala are exempted from B.Ed Qualification.
In the case of difference in Original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in SSLC Book, the Candidate should furnish/submit/produce a Gazette Notification in this regard, with Community Certificate at the time of Certificate Verification.
Those who have passed the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) for the post of College Lecturers conducted by Government of Kerala are exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test for Higher Secondary School Teacher Post.
Those who have passed the National Eligibility Test/Junior Research Fellowship shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test.
Persons with Ph.D/M.Phil/M.Ed. Degree shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test provided the M.Phil in the concerned Subject should be one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala.
Teachers who have completed 10 Years’ Approved Teaching Service at the High School Level in the General Education Subordinate Service shall be exempted from passing the State Eligibility Test.
As narrated in the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023, Selection for Part-Time Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Arabic Posts shall be carried out through Direct Recruitment with Due Marks enumerated hereunder:
The Candidates who have acquired Non-Qualifying Degrees; viz., Philosophiae Doctor (Ph.D)/Magister Philosophiae (M.Phil)/Post Doctoral Fellowship will be awarded Weightage Marks provided that such Non-Qualifying Degrees shall be in the Subjects pertaining to the Basic Qualification stipulated for the Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Arabic Post.
Weightage Marks for Non-Qualifying Degrees for ranking will be awarded as detailed hereunder:
I) Non-Qualifying Magister Philosophiae (M.Phil): 02 Marks
II) Non-Qualifying Philosophiae (Ph.D): 04 Marks
III) Both M.Phil and Ph.D (Non-Qualifying): 05 Marks
IV) Post-Doctoral Fellowship: 02 Marks
Selection on to the Post Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Arabic shall be carried through by way of Direct Recruitment involving Viva-voce and Document Verification, hence, Appointment to the said Post in Kerala Higher Secondary Education.
In view of receipt of the Candidates’ Applications received in large numbers and as a result of Screening, in case it was decided at the behest of the Kerala Higher Secondary Education, Kerala Public Service Commission may likely host an Objective/Descriptive/Written Test in an OMR Answer Sheet Format for Selection to Higher Secondary School Junior (Arabic) Teacher Post as mentioned in Kerala Public Service Commission Recruitment Advertisement 2023 for the purpose.
According to the Kerala PSC Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Interested Candidates with Requisite Eligibility for the Post, Online Application with Registration is Mandatory following the Instructions narrated therein.
i) Visit Kerala Public Service Commission Website.
ii) Those Candidates, who have registered, may apply by logging in to their Profiles using their User-Id and Password.
iii) Then Click on the ‘Apply Now’ Button of the respective Post in the Notification Link to apply for a Post. The Candidate’s Photograph uploaded should be the one taken after 31.12.2012.
iii) The Candidates, who have created New Profile from 01.01.2022, should upload the Photograph taken within 06 Months
iv) The Candidates should take a Printout of the Online Application by Clicking the Link My Application in their Profiles.
