KMC Recruitment 2023: Check Post, Eligibility, Monthly Remuneration and How to Apply
KMC Recruitment 2023: The Chief Municipal Health Officer, Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC), Kolkata (under NUHM Society) has sought Applications from the Candidates Eligible for the Contractual Post Staff Nurse under Kolkata Municipal Corporation through this KMC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement Dated 28th February 2023 (28.02.2023). As notified in the KMC Recruitment 2023 Notification, there are 30 Vacancies with 14 Vacancies reserved for General Merit Candidates.
Based on the KMC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, those Eligible Candidates with Interest to apply for the KMC Staff Nurse Position should complete the Online Registration Process. The Last Date for the Willing Candidates having fulfilled the Eligibility to complete the Application Process is 15th March 2023 (15.03.2023) notified by the KMC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
According to the KMC Recruitment 2023 Notification issued, there are 30 Vacancies to be filled up with Appointments of Staff Nurses.

Vacancy: 30 (including 14 Nos. for the Un-Reserved Category Candidates)
As notified in the KMC Recruitment 2023 Advertisement, the Candidates appointed as Staff Nurses will be entitled to a Fixed Monthly Remuneration mentioned hereunder:
Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 25000 (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand) only
According to the KMC Recruitment 2023 Notification, General Merit Candidates, as on 01.01.2023, should be aged as follows:
Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years
Minimum Mandatory Educational Qualification with Other Eligibility, the Candidate
i) should have completed GNM Training Course from any Institute accredited by the Indian Nursing Council/West Bengal Nursing Council; Or
should have completed B.Sc. Nursing Course.
ii) must have registered under the West Bengal Nursing Council with an Essential Proficiency in Bengali Dialect.
Selection for Contractual Appointment on the Staff Nurse Posts shall be carried out based on the Marks obtained on Basic Qualification followed by an Interview. Subsequently One Panel will be prepared for Engagement in accordance with the Rules under NUHM (National Urban Health Mission) Society.
The Scoring Scale for Appointment of Staff Nurse is 100 explained hereunder:
Basic Qualification: 40 (on the basis of the Marks scored in the GNM/B.Sc. Nursing Examination) and Interview allotted 60 Marks, Aggregated 100 Marks.
According to the KMC Recruitment 2023 Notification, Eligible Candidates with the Prescribed Eligibility should apply explained hereunder:
Eligible Candidate’s duly filled-in Applications in the Specimen Proforma annexed with the Mandatory Documents enclosed in an Envelope superscripted “Application for the Post <Name> addressed to “The Chief Municipal Health Officer, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, CMO Building, 05 SN Banerjee Road, Kolkata 700 013” for Submission into the Drop Box in front of Room No. 254, 2nd Floor of the CMO Building.
