Overview:

Unilever is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Finance – ZBB at their Bangalore location. Fuel for Growth comprises 5 key initiatives, targeted with delivering €2.4bn of savings in 2021. The initiatives include 5s, Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB), restructuring programs – (i) Future Fit Operations, (ii) Change Programs Overheads, and (iii) Supply Chain Transformation and NRM. The role will focus on ZBB to track and govern savings across markets, divisions and function. To support preparation for CSO connects and lead CIDG process.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Monthly tracking of ZBB and Fuel for Growth performance, providing updates to the Cost Segment Owners (CSOs) and PMUs
  • Support deep-dive analysis to provide actionable insights; and other ad-hoc requirements
  • Prepare presentation and decks for discussion with CSOs/ MCO/ Markets, lead discussions and drive actions.
  • Consulting Investment Discission Group (CIDG) – Independently manage Consulting spend governance, reviewing Consulting requests, ensuring all spends are approved in line with policy, following up and ensuring correct booking of Consulting spends
  • Communication – Ensure delivery of effective communications plan and best practice sharing to maintain excitement and momentum for the program
  • Clear understanding of Unilever Management Accounts, Functions, Processes and Systems

The ideal candidate should also have:

  • SAP Operational Knowledge (ECC and BW)
  • Deep understanding of Accounting
  • Analytically minded with good numerical ability
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Drive process simplification and Automations
  • Deep understanding of business and ability to visualize activity in market, Customer oriented mind-set
  • Good oral & written communication skills, Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to build effective relationships across different language/cultural and organizational styles
  • Ability to work with a diverse virtual team
  • Strong organization and administrative skills are essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint

Eligibility:

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in budgeting, Budget follow-up, In-depth knowledge of P&L
  • Relevant experience in Non-Finance performance management (Marketing & Non-Finance SC) * Preferable: Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing in Finance
  • Qualifications: CA /CMA/MBA (Finance)
