The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has notified the Enforcement of provisions of sections 20, 35 and 40 of the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2023 via issuing a Notification.
The Notification Read as follows:
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Competition (Amendment) Act, 2023 (9 of 2023), the Central Government hereby appoints the 6th day of March 2024 as the date on which the provisions of sections 20, 35 and 40 of the said Act shall come into force.
