Pay Matrix Level under Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Individuals selected for Air Worthiness Officer Post,  shall be entitled to the Monthly Salary in the following Pay Matrix Level post-Appointment, to be read hereunder:

Upper Age Limits under Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the following Category-wise and Reserved Community-specific Age Limits (as on the Closing Date 13.07.2023) are to be read hereunder:

1) The Un-Reserved Category: The Candidate should not exceed 35 Years.

2) The Upper Age Limitation remains Relaxable for Regularly Appointed Central Government/Union Territory Government Servants up to 05 Years as per the instructions issued by the Government of India from time to time.

3) For Age Concessions applicable to some other Categories of Applicants, the Applicants should refer to the relevant Paragraphs of the “Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection” of the UPSC-issued Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

The Eligibility, in accordance with the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, comprising the Educational Qualification(s) and Experience Mandatory for the Applicants may be read as follows:

Essential Qualification(s):  The Willing Eligible Candidates should have the Eligibility comprising the Educational and Desirable Qualifications narrated hereunder:

A) Essential Qualification(s):

The Eligibility, in accordance with the UPSC issued Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Employment Notification for the Air Worthiness Officer comprising the Essential Educational Qualification(s) and Experience as is narrated therein for the Applicants should be read as follows:

Essential Criteria: The Willing Candidates with Eligibility should have the Eligibility comprising the Educational and Desirable Qualifications narrated hereunder:

Educational:

i) Bachelor’s Degree in Physics/Mathematics/Aircraft Maintenance/Engineering Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication from any Duly Recognized University.

ii) Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s (AME) License endorsed in either of the Categories B1/B2 issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Note: Any Person with the Engineering Degree in Aeronautical may be considered without possessing a Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s (AME) License.

B: Experience: 03-Years’ Aircraft Maintenance Experience on any Operating Aircraft in an Aircraft Maintenance Organization approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation.

C: Desirable Qualification(s): Work Experience in a continuing Airworthiness Management Organization/ Aircraft Maintenance Organization.

Note: The Educational Qualifications and the Qualifications with regard to Experience in respect of the Candidates, otherwise well-qualified, are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission.

Selection Procedure under Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

Based on the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Notification issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry through the Recruitment Test Selection with Other Criteria for the Notified Air Worthiness Officer Post also explained hereunder:

Recruitment Methodology:

In the event the Applications received relatively in large number from Applicants, the Union Public Service Commission may adopt the Shortlisting Criteria to restrict the number to only Eligible Candidates to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or More of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder:

a) “Based on the Desirable Qualification (DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications (DQs), in case more than one Desirable Qualification is prescribed”.

b) Based on the Higher Educational Qualifications than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.

c) On the basis of the Higher Experience in the relevant field than the Minimum prescribed in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement.

d) By reckoning the Prior Professional Work-Experience before or Post-acquired Essential Qualifications of the Candidate Applicants.

e) By invoking the Prior Work Experience even in cases where there is No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification (EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification (DQ).

f) By holding a Recruitment Test (RT).

Note-II: Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks:

As has been explained in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023 Official Notification for Selection on Air Worthiness Officer in the Ministry of Civil Aviation Welfare, Viva-voce/Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks with the Minimum Qualifying/Pass Marks for Selection to be read hereunder:

I) The Category-wise Minimum Level of Suitability in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Recruitment Test (RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder:

a) Un-Reserved (UR)  Category: Minimum Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks

b) Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 50 Marks

c) Other Backward Community: 45 Marks

d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Benchmark Disability/ies (PwBD/s): 40 Marks.

II) In cases where Selection is carried through by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by the Personal Interview, the Candidate will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their respective Categories in the course of the Interview Stage.

Application Fee for Ministry of Civil Aviation Recruitment 2023:

Following is the Category-wise Application Fee and Payment Gateway for remittance by the Applicants:

I) The General Category/EWS/OBC Candidates shall have to pay the Application Fee Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty-five) only either by remitting the Money in any Branch of the State Bank of India in Cash or by using the Net-Banking Facility of the State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card Payment Gateway.

II) Reserved Community (SC/ST/PwBDs) and Women Candidates under any Community remain Exempted from payment of the Application Fee.
