Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India has called in Applications through Proper Channel in respect of the Willing and Eligible Officials for Appointment on 05 Posts; Deputy Director General (DDG) on Deputation Basis in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) vide this Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification Dated 03.04.2023 and published on 05.04.2023. In view of the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the NCB Deputy Director General Posts are covered under Revised Pay Matrix Level 14 of the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Duly completed Applications in respect of the Officials who may spared/relieved immediately on Selection of the Suitable Officer may be forwarded to the Office Under-Secretary to the Government of India ahead of the appointed Crucial Date, 60th Date from publishing of the MHA Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
The Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification narrates Posts and Vacancies explained hereunder:
Designation: Deputy Director General (DDG)
Vacancy: 05 Nos.
Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, Appropriately Suitable Officials appointed on the Deputy Director General Posts shall be entitled to the Pay Scale explained hereunder:
Pay Scale: Revised Pay Matrix Level 14 of the Central Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules 2016.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement, the Maximum Age Limit as on the Closing Date of the MHA NCB Recruitment Application may be read as hereunder:
Maximum Age Limit for Appointment on Deputy Director General Post On Deputation should not Exceed 58 Years.
Based on the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Specific Requirement for the Post Deputy Director General in the Narcotics Control Bureau should be read as follows:
As per the Recruitment Rules prescribed for the Deputy Director General Post shall be filled up On Deputation Basis from among the Officers of the All-India Services and other Group ‘A’ Central Services:
A-i) holding Analogous Post on a Regular Basis in the Parent Cadre or the Department Or
ii) empaneled for Appointment on to the Posts in the Pay Scale Level 14 of the Pay Matrix of 7th CPC or Equivalent in Government of India; With
05-Years’ Experience in Enforcement of Regulatory Laws Or Investigation of Economic and Criminal Offences and gathering/collection of Intelligence relating thereof
Note*: The Officers on the verge of Promotion/Superannuation must not apply.
Appointment of Appropriately Suitable Candidates on Deputy Director General in the Narcotics Control Bureau will be carried through By Deputation.
The Terms and Conditions of Deputation shall be governed by the Department of Personnel & Training’s (DoPT) Office Memorandum vide No. 6/8/2009-Establishment (Pay II) Guidelines issued by the Department Dated 17.06.2010 AND Office Memorandum No. 2/6/2016-Establishment(Pay-II) Dated 17.02.2016 as amended from time to time. The period of Deputation, including Deputation in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 05 Years.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the Cadre Controlling Authority Concerned should forward within 60 Days of the MHA Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement duly completed Applications of Willing Officials with Eligibility (who could be spared immediately in the event of Selection). Duly filled up Applications of the Officers should be as per the Prescribed Proforma coupled with Mandatory Documents mandated by the Ministry of Home Affairs Recruitment 2023 Official Notification.
