The Monthly Pay Scale with Salary subject to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2023 Official Advertisement prescribed for Suitable Personnel selected as Additional Regional Officer is as follows:
Pay Matrix: Level 11 (Rs.67700-208700) (Pre-revised Pay Band 3 (Rs.15600-39100 Plus Grade Pay of Rs.6600)
The Pay and other Terms and Conditions of Deputation of the Officer(s) selected, will be regulated in accordance with the Provisions contained in the DoPT (Department of Personnel & Training) Office Memorandum Number 06/08/2009-Establishment (Pay-II) Dated 17.06.2010, and Office Memorandum No. 02/11/2017-Establishment (Pay-II)Dated 24.11.2017 and 15.03.2021 as amended from to time.

Eligibility Conditions:
Specific Requirement: Suitable Officers of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) or Central Service Group ‘A’, with the following Qualifications:
Essential:
i) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of any Duly Recognized University or Equivalent.
ii) Sound Knowledge of Hindi and one more Indian Regional Dialect/Language (according to the requirements of the Post-in this case Assamese);
iii) Sound knowledge of Indian History and Culture.
iv) 07 Years’ Administrative or Managerial Experience in any Responsible Capacity
Note: The Deputation Tenure shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years)
As may be referred to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Recruitment 2023 Official Memo Selection for Deputationist Appointment on the Additional Regional Officer Post shall be carried out by a Deputation Basis for 03 Years’ Duration.
The Period of Deputation Including the Deputation Period in another Ex-Cadre Post held immediately preceding this Appointment in the same or some other Organization/Department of the Central Government, shall ordinarily not exceed 03 Years for the Additional Regional Officer notified thereby.
