NDMA Recruitment 2023: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Senior Consultant, Consultant (Information Technology), Consultant (Network Management) and Consultant (Cyber Security) on a contract period. As per the NDMA Recruitment 2023 official notification, there are 04 vacancies. Selected candidates will get a monthly salary up to Rs. 175000.
As per the NDMA Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates applying for the post of Senior Consultant should be below the age of 50 and the candidates applying for the post of Consultant should be below the age of 40. Mention below is the minimum qualification required for NDMA Recruitment 2023:
Senior Consultant
Candidates should have master’s degrees in civil engineering, Economics, Architecture, Social Sciences, Geoinformatics, Urban Planning, Public Policy and Development Planning, Disaster Management or a related discipline. Or Retired Government employees with Grade Pay of Rs.8700 (pre-revised) / Level – 13 (7th CPC) and above with minimum experience of 5-10 years in the relevant field. Candidates with experience in handling Recovery & Reconstruction programs would be preferred. Candidates with an advanced degree such as a Ph.D. in a related discipline is desirable. Candidates must have a sound understanding and knowledge of issues relating to Recovery & Reconstruction.
Consultant (Information Technology)
Candidates should have B.E / B. Tech (Computer Science or IT) with implementation & operational experience in managing IT in large organizations. Candidates with M. Tech/ MCA (Computer Science or IT) will be preferred.
Consultant (Network Management)
Candidates should have B.E / B. Tech (Computer Science or IT) with implementation & operational experience of managing LAN/WAN in large organizations. Candidates should have M. Tech./ MCA (Computer Science or IT), Certification in Network Management like CCNA will be given preference.
Consultant (Cyber Security)
Candidates should have BE / B. Tech (Computer Science or IT) with implementation & Operational experience of managing Cyber Security in large organizations. Candidates having M. Tech/ MCA (Computer Science or IT), Certification in Cyber Security areas like CCNP/CEH/ CISSP/ CISA/ CCSP etc. will be given preference.

Senior Consultant
Candidates should have A minimum of 5-10 years of work experience in disaster risk management, developmental projects and programs at either policy or program level. Working in national/ international institutions on disaster risk management or implementing recovery projects is desirable. Candidates should have proven writing skills in English, as the position requires dealing with national and state agencies pertaining to disaster risk reduction and related aspects.
Consultant (Information Technology)
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the field on Information Technology & Management of Various Govt Portals, Eoffice management, NIC Cloud Services, Excellent Knowledge in Management of Video Conferencing services, and Website Management, Candidates should have knowledge in at least one CMS like Drupal or WordPress. Candidates should have Excellent knowledge in the management of E-office instances. Candidates should have Experience in managing Cloud Dashboard Creation of New VMs, Public IP, Domain Name registration, all VM-related operations. Setting up the SSL Certificates and other web security-related task etc,. Candidates should have working knowledge on handling of Govt. Portals like GeM, SPARROW, e-Samiksha, etc.
Consultant (Network Management)
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the field of Network Management & IT infrastructure with hands-on and core experience in Network and Security Products. Candidates should have Exposure in implementing & managing different network products like Cisco etc. Candidates should have an understanding of various protocols, Intrusion Prevention systems, Wireless technologies, Antivirus, Firewalls etc. Candidates should have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a strong understanding of standard Network Designs, Storage, and Compute Best Practices and Solutions. Candidates should have Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Consultant (Cyber Security)
Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in the field of Cyber Security. Candidates should have IT experience with hands-on experience in the areas of Information/Cyber Security & Risk Management. Candidates should have Experience in cyber forensic investigation methodology, Structured project management experience in deploying cybersecurity-related initiatives, etc. Candidates should have experience in conducting infrastructure/network security assessments including red team exercises, and penetration testing assessments. Undergone training from Cert-In/ NIC etc. Candidates should have Government sector experience is favorable for the position, Security issues related to the Website.
