NEEPCO Recruitment 2023: NEEPCO, a leading power company in the northeast region of India, has announced job openings for various positions. The organization is seeking young and dynamic professionals with a strong academic background for the roles of Executive Trainees in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Finance, and Human Resources. Additionally, there is a vacancy for the position of Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee). The total number of available positions is 41, and interested candidates can apply online from March 10, 2023, till April 4, 2023.

Selected candidates will be offered a lucrative compensation package, including a basic pay of Rs. 50,000 in the E-2 grade, along with various benefits such as Dearness Allowance, Provident Fund, Gratuity, medical treatment, and communication equipment.   1. Executive Trainees-Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical): UR/EWS: 30 years OBC (NCL): 33 years SC/ST: 35 years PwDs: 40 years
  2. Executive Trainees- Finance: UR/EWS: 30 years OBC (NCL): 33 years SC/ST: 35 years
  3. Executive Trainees- Human Resources: UR/SC: 30 years
  4. Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee): UR: 35 years

Educational Qualification for NEEPCO Recruitment 2023:

As per NEEPCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the educational qualifications required for the different positions at the executive trainee level vary as per the job role.

For Executive Trainees in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) (E-2 Grade), candidates must have completed a full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE/BSc. Engg. in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute or university with not less than 65% marks as per respective institute/university norms (55% marks for SC/ST/PwDs candidates). Additionally, candidates must have appeared and qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2022.

For Executive Trainees in Finance (E-2 Grade), candidates must have passed the final exam of CA conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or CMA (previously ICWA) conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.

For Executive Trainees in Human Resources (E-2 Grade), candidates must be graduate with a full-time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Personnel & Administration/Industrial Relations/Human Resource Development/Human Resource Management of a minimum of 2 years duration with 65% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University or Institute (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD). Candidates must have appeared in UGC-NET in Labour Welfare/Personnel Management/Labour & Social Welfare/HRM in 2021-2022 (merged cycle). The General/EWS candidates must have secured at least 40% and the SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD must have secured at least 35% marks in both the papers of UGC-NET to apply.

Lastly, for the position of Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee) (E-2 Grade), candidates must be a graduate and a qualified Company Secretary holding a valid membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). A degree in Law will be an added qualification, and candidates with 1-2 years of experience in the line either in the executive or in the senior supervisory level in Central/State Undertakings/Autonomous bodies or large Industrial Organizations dealing with Corporate Laws, and other Statutory and Non-Statutory Secretarial matters will be preferred. In-depth knowledge of SEBI/Stock Exchange compliance is desirable.

Salary for NEEPCO Recruitment 2023:

As per NEEPCO Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidates for the various positions mentioned in the job advertisement will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000-3%-1,60,000/- at the basic pay of Rs. 50,000/- (E-2) grade. In addition to the basic pay, the candidates will also be entitled to other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, perquisites, allowances, terminal benefits, etc. These benefits will be provided to the candidates as per the company rules in force from time to time.   3. Candidates who have appeared in GATE-2022 and have a valid score with GATE Registration number, appeared in UGC NET 2021-2022 (merged cycle) with valid application number, candidates who have passed the final examination of CA/ CMA, and candidates with valid Company Secretary membership only shall apply for the respective posts against this advertisement.
  4. Fill in the Online application form with accurate information including GATE-2022 Registration Number, UGC NET 2021-2022 (merged cycle), CA/CMA Registration number, and Company Secretary membership number.

  6. Candidates belonging to the General/ EWS/ OBC Category are required to pay a Non-refundable Application fee of Rs 560/- (Rupees five hundred sixty) only to be deposited through the “Payment Now” link available in the online recruitment portal. No Application Fee is required for SC/ ST/ PwDs candidates. The fee once paid will not be refundable under any circumstances.
