NEET PG 2024: NEET PG 2024 Test City Selection Window Last Date Extended, Check Extended Date
NEET PG 2024: The candidates who have registered for the NEET PG 2024 examination, now need to select choices of test cities to take the examination, online. Earlier, as per the decision taken by the authority, the Test City Selection Window for NEET PG 2024 was open from 19th July 2024 to 22nd July 2024 (till 11:55 PM) but now the window has been extended by a day, the NEET PG 2024 Test City Selection Window is open till July 23, 2024. As per the official notice released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the candidates will be informed about the test city they are awarded on July 29, 2024, and has clarified that the candidates will be informed about the name and detailed addresses about the test city along with the release of NEET UG 2024 Admit Card. The NEET UG 2024 Admit Card is set to be declared on August 8, 2024.
The NEET PG 2024 exam is set to be held in 185 test cities. Candidates note the point, it is clearly informed by the authority that the test cities’ names declared earlier will not be valid this time as the NEET PG 2024 exam dates decided earlier to be held on June 23, 2024, was postponed, hence the test city names will be re-announced. Earlier, the exam was postponed due to precautionary measures, as controversies on the paper leak of the NEET UG exam arose. Candidates can reach the NEET PG 2024 Test City Selection Window using the official website of NBEMS i.e., natboard.edu.in and will be able to select the suitable test city for themselves by entering the login credentials.
The official notification says, “NBEMS vide its notice dated 18th July 2024 has opened an online window from 19th July 2024 to 22nd July 2024 (till 11:55 PM), allowing the NEET-PG 2024 candidates to exercise their choices of preferred test cities to take the examination.”
Further says, “It has been noted that few candidates are yet to submit their test city choices. In order to enable them to submit their choices, the test city selection window has been extended by a day till 23rd July 2024 (11:55 PM).”
Authority has clearly clarified in the notice that this is the last extension made and no further extension shall be granted. The candidates, due to any reason will not be able to select a suitable centre as per their choices then, he/she will be allotted centres from the side of NBEMS and it can be anywhere in the country depending upon availability.
