NTA (National Testing Agency) has released a latest notification for the NEET (UG) 2023 examination for SC/ST aspirants. Now the NTA has removed the cutoff date for uploading SC/ST certificate.

NEET UG 2023 Examination: Check Latest Notification Regarding SC/ST Certificate Cutoff Date
NEET UG 2023 Examination: The NTA (National Testing Agency) has released the official notification for the NEET (UG) 2023 examination. The application process has started as of March 6, 2023. Every year, NTA conducts NEET UG, the single national-level undergraduate medical entrance exam, for admission to 645 medical, 318 dental, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc and AH colleges in India. More than 16 lakh aspirants appear for this exam.
According to the NEET UG 2023 official notification, the entrance exam will be held on May 7, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. IST (Indian Standard Time). NTA conducts the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) exam in 13 different languages to give equal opportunities to students from all backgrounds. The exam is to be conducted in pen-and-paper mode. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), of which students need to answer 180.
As per the latest NEET UG 2023 notification dated March 14, 2023, issued by the NTA, the cutoff date for uploading the SC/ST certificate on the NEET 2023 application form has been removed. Earlier, the cutoff date was April 1, 2022, which has now been removed. However, in case SC/ST candidates do not have the certificate, they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of the SC/ST certificate as per Appendix XB to that effect, which is available for download in the information bulletin.
In the latest notification, NTA stated, “With respect to the Information Bulletin for NEET (UG) – 2023, it is clarified that no cutoff date for SC/ST certificates in favor of concerned candidates has been stipulated.” As per the previous instruction, the SC/ST certificate should have been generated on or after April 1, 2022. In case the certificate was generated before the said date, then candidates will have to upload a declaration to that effect, which has to be downloaded from the information brochure itself.
According to the official notification, the last date for submission of the NEET UG 2023 Examination Form is April 6, 2023, up to 11:50 p.m.
