NHSRC Recruitment 2023: National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Consultant and Senior Consultant on a contract basis. As per the NHSRC Recruitment 2023 official notification, selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure of 02 years which can be extendable. The maximum age limit for both posts are vary, the age limit for all posts is mentioned below. National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) has been set up under the National Health Mission (NHM) as an autonomous registered society, to provide technical assistance to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, capacity building, and technical support to the States/UTs for strengthening the public health system. NHSRC is also mandated to contribute towards National strategic health planning and program design. Mention below is the qualification and experience required for NHSRC Recruitment 2023:
Consultant
Candidates should have Post-graduation in Public Health/ Health Management/ Health Administration/ Project Management/Business Administration etc. MBBS degree with the above qualifications will be given priority. Candidates should have at least 2 years of post-qualification work experience in Health Systems Research or in Planning and implementation of service delivery. Candidates should have Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programs at the field level/ working in strengthening of district-level health systems. Candidates should be willing to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments. Candidates should have published work in the area of health systems or public health.
Senior Consultant
Candidates should have Post-graduation in Public Health/ Health Management/ Health Administration/ Project Management/ Business Administration etc. MBBS degree with the above qualifications will be given priority. Candidates should have at least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in Health Systems Research or in Planning and implementation of service delivery. Candidates should have Demonstrated experience in operationalizing health programs at the field level/ working in strengthening of district-level health systems. Candidates should be willing to travel to states & districts to provide technical assistance & ability to work on different assignments simultaneously to meet the timelines for assignments. Candidates should have published work in the area of health systems or public health.
Consultant (CP/CPHC)
Candidates should have an MBBS / BDS/Nursing with a postgraduate degree or diploma in Community Medicine/ Community Health/ Hospital Administration/ Health Administration/Public Health/Epidemiology/ IT/Communications. Candidates should have at least three years of post-qualification experience in the implementation of health programs, including community health. Candidates should have experience in the direct implementation of health service delivery programs through government, NGOs or Regional Resource Centers is preferred. Candidates should have experience in one or all of the following: documentation, data analysis, and training. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, presentation skills, and interpersonal abilities. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Candidates should be able to meet stringent guidelines at short notice and operate in an evolving environment. Candidates should be willing to travel to states & districts to collect technical information and synthesize information into research evidence.
Desirable:
Candidates have working knowledge of Hindi / another major regional language, Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment, or Demonstrated experience working with NGO-led Primary Health Care/Community Health Worker programs/state-level public health programs will be given preference.

Senior Consultant
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs. 90000 to Rs. 150000.
Consultant (CP/CPHC)
Selected candidates will get a monthly salary between Rs. 60000 to Rs. 120000.
In addition to the salary, the selected candidate will get free accident insurance, discounted medical insurance, mobile bill reimbursement, laptop reimbursement (per NHSRC policy), 30 days of combined leave, fully paid maternity leave (for female consultants) per Government of India policy, performance-linked increments, TA/ DA, and per diem for on-duty visits.
