Pay Scale under NTPC Recruitment 2022:

Pay Scale: Rs.1.80 Lac up to Rs.3.40 Lac Per Month (IDA).

The Officer appointed as Director (Projects) shall be entitled to a Pay Scale Rs. 1.80 Lac to Rs, 3.40 Lac Per Month (IDA) in NTPC Ltd.

Age Limit for NTPC Recruitment 2022:

Superannuation Age Limit: 60 Years (As on Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy; i.e. 01.12.2023)

A) For Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 Years and Maximum 02-Years’ Residual Service as on the Date of Occurrence of the Vacancy in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

B) For Other Candidates: Minimum 45 Years and Maximum 03-Years’ Residual Service as on the Vacancy Occurrence Date in reference to the Date of Superannuation.

Note: The Minimum Length of Services essential in the Eligible Pay Scale for the Post Director (Projects) is 01 (One) Year in regard to the Internal Personnel and as regards Others (External) is 02 (Two) Years As on 01.12.2023.

Eligibility Criteria for NTPC Recruitment 2022:

The Eligible Applicants should have the Essential Eligibility as follows:

A) Educational Qualifications:

i) Gained Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from any of the UGC/AICTE Accredited Universities/ Institutions with a Good Academic Record.

ii) Having a Full-Time MBA/PGDM Degree with Specialization would have an Added Advantage.

Desirable: The Applicant should have Minimum 05-Years’ Cumulative Experience/Exposure during the Past 10 Years in Project Planning/Execution/ Management at a Senior Level of Management in any large Organization of Repute.

Experience in the Construction/Commissioning of Projects in Power Sector is desirable in any Organisation of Repute.

Other Essential Eligibility Conditions for NTPC Recruitment 2023

A.1) The Applicant from the Central Government/All India Services should be holding a Post of the Level of a Joint Secretary in the Government of India or be carrying an Equivalent Pay Scale on the Closing Date of Online Application (21.02.2023).

2) The Applicant from the Armed Forces of the Union Government of India should be holding a Post of the Level of Major General in the Army or Equivalent Rank in the Indian Navy/Indian Air Force on the Last Date of Online Application.

B) The Applicant from the State Public Sector Enterprises (SPSE)/Private Sector (PS) should be serving in the Board Level Position Or be holding a Minimum Post of the Level immediately down below the Board Level on the Online Application End Date.

Immediate Absorption of the Central Government Officers on the Post Director (Projects) mandates as the Central Government Officers, including those of the Armed Forces of the Union and the All India Services, are Eligible for consideration only on an Immediate Absorption Basis as may be read in the PESB NTPC Recruitment 2022 Advertisement.

Selection Criteria for NTPC Recruitment 2022:

Selection on to Director (Projects) Post shall be carried out through Interview for Appointment on the Director (Projects) Post.

The Public Enterprises Selection Board will accord Due Preference to the Candidates serving or having rendered their respective services in any of the Listed Companies.

Appointment Tenure: Post-Selection Appointment the Tenure of the Incumbent as Post of Director (Projects) shall remain 05 (Five) Years from the Date of Joining or up to the Date of Superannuation or until further Government Orders, Whichever be Earlier.

Important Points for NTPC Recruitment 2023

Note 1: Eligible Applicants, who in the event of Selection on the Post of Director (Projects) may be spared for Appointment, should apply through “Proper Channel”.

Note 2: The Applicant on the Date of Application as well as on the Interview Date should be in employment in a Regular Capacity, not in a Contractual or Ad-hoc Capacity in the Following Concerns:
