Oil India Limited (OIL) is inviting the candidate to fill up Geology, Geology/Geophysics, Geophysics, Reservoir, Reservoir/Chemical, Chemical, Drilling, Production, and Mechanical. There are 55 openings for the posted position.

Experience for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the experience required for the above post is given below.

Geology

• Exploration Geology

1. Candidate should have at least 10 years of specialized experience in fullcycle exploration work flow, Seismic interpretation, prospect generation, Risk and Uncertainty Analysis, Volumetric evaluation and Post-Drilling Appraisal.
2. Guiding exploration teams in G&G projects, both at prospect level and regional level;
3. Proficiency in utilizing industry standard seismic interpretation softwares e.g. Petrel, Kingdom suite, Decision Space, Genoframe etc.

• Paleontology
  Candidate should have at least 10 years of specialized experience in micropaleontology, biostratigraphy and paleoenvironmental analysis.
• Sedimentology
  Candidate should have at least t 5 years of specialized experience (out of total experience) in sequence stratigraphy studies in petroleum exploration plays and reservoir characterization using seismic data, log data and biostratigraphy data etc.

Drilling

• Drilling Engineering – Onshore

1. Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Onshore Drilling operation and activities as Drilling Engineer supervising drilling activities.
2. Experience of drilling of at least 10 onshore wells deeper than 3500m
3. Experience and Expertise of the interpretation and resolution of drilling-related down hole complications including fishing.
4. Experience in well designing and preparation of cost estimates with respect to Drilling Rig and Equipment, Services and well cost.

• Drilling Engineering – Offshore

1. Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Offshore Drilling operations and activities as Drilling Engineer supervising drilling operations.
2. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Offshore Drilling operations and activities in floaters as Drilling Superintendent supervising drilling operations.
3. Experience of interpretation and resolution of drilling related down hole complications including fishing.
4. Experience in well designing and preparation of cost estimate (inclusive in ultra deep waters, water depth more than 1500 meters) with respect to Drilling Rig and Equipment, Services and well cost.

Production

• Offshore

1. Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience as Production Engineer in offshore oil and gas installations or supervising production-related activities in offshore wells.
2. Project planning experience for well testing in an Offshore environment.

Mechanical

• Engineering Services
  Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure and facilities creation for Production setup of wells in the Offshore Oil and gas field.

Tenure Period for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the selected applicant will be appointed for a tenure period of 02 years.

Age Limit for OIL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the minimum age limit for the aforementioned position is 60 years and the maximum age limit is 65 years as of 30.09.2023.

Honorarium for OIL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, the honorarium should range between Rs.10000 to  Rs.8000 each day.

Place of Posting for OIL Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of OIL Recruitment 2023, selected applicants will be posted in Delhi, however, they would be required to travel to any location of OIL’s operations/work centers in India depending on job requirements from time to time.
