Maximum Age (Limits) for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

i) The Open Merit Candidates (as on 01.01.2022) should be Minimum 21 Years and Maximum 38 Years.

ii) Relaxation in the Upper Age Limits for different Reserved Communities, Women and Ex-Service-Men may be read in the OPSC Recruitment 2023.

Eligibility for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Eligible Candidates should have in possession the following Qualifications:

i) The Medical Council of India accredited MBBS or Equivalent Degree from any Medical College or Medical Institution;

ii) Valid Registration Certificate under the Odisha Medical Regulation Rules 1965;

iii) Essential Conversion Certificates accredited by the Medical Council of India in case of Degree received from any of the Universities of Foreign Countries.

Other Essential Minimum Qualifications:

The Candidate must

i) be able to read, write and speak Odia Dialect; and

ii) have passed Middle School with Odia as a Language Subject; or

iii) have passed High School Certificate (Matriculate) Examination with Odia as a Medium of Examination in Non-Language Subject; or

iv) have passed in Odia as a Language Subject in the Final Examination of Class VII from any School or Education Institution duly recognized by the Central Government or the Government of Odisha;

v) have passed a Test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department (SMED).

Selection Process under OPSC Recruitment 2023:

Selection to the Insurance Medical Officers shall be carried out on the basis of a Competitive Written Test for Maximum 200 Marks. Merit List shall be drawn up by taking the Candidates’ Marks in the Written Examination notified in the OPSC Recruitment 2023.

Examination Fee for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

The Candidates remain exempted from Payment of the Examination/Application Fee.
