Salary for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.56100 in Level 12, Cell-1 of the pay matrix in accordance with the 2017 ORSP Rules, with regular Dearness and any additional Allowances that the Government of Odisha may occasionally authorize.

Qualification for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates must hold a must have 2nd Class Mining Engineering Degree from a recognized Indian University.

Selection Process for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, the selection will be based on a written test and viva voce test.

• The written test will include 02  papers totaling 500 points.
• The queries on both pieces of writing must be of objective variety.
• Paper I (General Studies & Awareness Test) will have 200 total marks and 200 questions with a total time limit of two hours.
• Paper II (Specialisation Paper Mining Engineering) will include 150 questions, each worth two points, for a total of 300 points and three hours.
• For both General & Technical Papers, i.e., Paper-I (General Studies & Awareness Test) and Paper II (Mining Engineering), there will be a negative marking for each incorrect answer or response, with a reduction of 25% (one-fourth) of the marks assigned to the particular question.
• The Viva Voce test has a maximum mark of 50 marks.

Examination Fee for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, the examination fee has been waived for all candidate categories, according to GA and PG Department Notification No. 9897/Gen, dated 11.04.2022.

Document Required for OPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of OPSC Recruitment 2023, candidates who are gathered for the Viva Voce test must bring a physical copy of their online application form, copies of their certificates, mark sheets, and so on, as well as the originals of those documents, to the Viva Voce test date, which will be published in due course. They will not be allowed to take the Viva Voce if they fail to cooperate.

• H.S.C. or a comparable certificate, issued by the relevant Board or Council, as proof of age.
• A degree in mining engineering from any Indian university that has been granted recognition. Marksheets attest to the completion of all of the aforementioned examinations (H.S.C./Degree in Mining Engineering), including any failed marks that may have been assigned by the relevant Board or Council University.
