Rashi Peripherals Fined Rs 1.67 Lakh by NSE

Rashi Peripherals Ltd has been slapped with a fine of Rs 1.67 lakh, including GST, after the company’s plea for waiver of penalties for non-compliance with the SEBI listing regulations was rejected. The company said it received communication from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 19, 2026, regarding the decision, in a regulatory filing on October 20, 2026.
The penalty relates to non-compliance with Regulation 17(1A) of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, during the quarters ended June 30, 2024, and September 30, 2024. The company had applied for a waiver of the fines imposed for these violations.
According to Rashi Peripherals, NSE stated that BSE Limited, the designated exchange responsible for processing the waiver application, had not approved the request. Following BSE’s decision, NSE rejected the company’s waiver application and directed it to pay a fine of Rs 1.42 lakh, along with 18% GST, taking the total amount to Rs 1,67,560.
The company clarified that, apart from the one-time financial payment, the penalty is not expected to have any other impact on its financial position, operations or business activities.
