ROC Extension Update: ICSI asks MCA for Extension of ROC Filing Due Date due to Glitches On Portal Professionals urged the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) to extend the deadline because the annual filing deadline for financial dates is Expired. Some of the professionals also reported glitches in the official portal, which made the filing process even more difficult at the last minute. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) requested an extension of the deadline for reporting financial statements from MCA Secretary Shri Tarun Bajaj last month. In the representation, it was requested that the MCA to extend the deadlines for filing financial statements with the Registrar, which are currently set at thirty days from the date of the annual general meeting under section 137 of the Companies Act, 2013. MCA has established a helpdesk to support the stakeholders but has not yet responded to the inquiries. Stakeholders are now notified that Annual filings are proceeding on the Portal as usual. Please get in touch with the help desk if there is ever a problem. Please take notice that help desk service is accessible till midnight tonight, the MCA tweeted on Saturday via its official website. The MCA noted in the Portal that stakeholders are advised to complete their annual form filing AOC-4/AOC-4 XBRL/AOC-4 NBFC FOR FY 2021–22 well in advance of the deadline. Further information was provided, showing that the overall number of LLP registrations from 1 April 2022 to 13 October 2022 is 3.19 lac, compared to 2.81 lac from 1 April 2021 to 13 October 2021. Director KYC approvals until October 13th 2022 are 19.12 lac, compared to 18.98 lac for the same period in 2021, according to MCA.

Till Today MCA has not extended the Deadline despite the fact that MCA Portal was not working since last 2-3 Days.
