The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is inviting applicants to fill out the posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) of different subjects, Scientific Supervisor (Ergonomics and Training), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) of different subjects, Chief Law Assistant, Public Prosecutor, Physical Training Instructor (English Medium), Scientific Assistant/Training, Junior Translator (Hindi), Senior Publicity Inspector, Staff and welfare Inspector, Librarian, Music Teacher (Female),Primary Railway Teacher of different subjects, Assistant Teacher (Female) (Junior School), Laboratory Assistant /School and Lab Assistant Grade 3 (Chemist and Metallurgist) under Ministerial and Isolated Categories. There are 1036 vacancies for the designated position, according to the official RRB Recruitment 2025 notification.

Application Fee for RRB Recruitment 2025:

As mentioned in the Official notification of RRB Recruitment 2025, candidate belonging to PwBDs / Female /Transgender/ Ex-Service men candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class (EBC) need to pay an Application fee of Rs.250 and the Rs.250 shall be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in 1st Stage CBT and for all other candidates, are required to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 500 and out of Rs.500 , Rs. 400 hall be refunded in due course duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.

Qualification for RRB Recruitment 2025:

Candidates applying for the RRB Recruitment 2025 must have the following qualifications

Post Graduate Teacher

• Candidate should have a Master’s Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in a relevant subject. However, a holder of a Degree of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
• Candidate should have a B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognised University.
• Candidate should be Proficient in teaching in Hindi and English mediums.

Desirable:

• Candidate should have knowledge of computer applications.

Trained Graduate Teacher/ Drawing(English Medium)

• Candidate should have an M.A. Degree in Drawing and Painting / Fine Arts from a recognised University. OR
• Candidate should have a B.A. (Hons) in Art and Art Education. OR
• Candidate should have 2nd Class bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting / Fine Arts with a minimum of 2 years of full-time Diploma from a recognised Institution. OR
• Candidate should have 12th(+2Stage) with a minimum 4 years full-time Diploma in Painting / Fine Arts or Part-time Diploma of not less than 5 years duration.
• Candidate should have competency in teaching in English medium.

Desirable

• Candidate should have at least 2 years Teachers Training Course from a recognised Institution. OR
• Candidate  should have 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised institution.

 Scientific Supervisor Ergonomics and Training

• Candidate  should have Second Class Masters Degree in Psychology or Physiology.
• Candidate should have 02 years of experience in the Administration of Psychological Tests of Mental Abilities and Personality. OR
• Candidate should have 02 years of research in Work Psychology. OR
• Candidate  should have 02 years of experience in Developing a Training Module or Conducting a Training Programme.

Desirable

• Candidate should have specialization in Industrial Psychology, Ergonomics / Counseling with knowledge of Statistics and Computers.

Chief Law Assistant

• Candidate  should have a University Degree in Law with 3 years of standing practice as a Pleader at Bar. Serving Railway employees who are Law Graduates are also eligible to apply for these posts, provided they have served for atleast 5 years in any Branch of the Railway Administration. Vacancies earmarked for Direct Recruitment should also be available to the Railway Magistrates who are desirous of applying for such posts and who also fulfil the prescribed qualification for direct recruits.

Public Prosecutor

• Candidate should have a graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University and with 05 years of experience as an advocate at Bar.

Selection Process for RRB Recruitment 2025:

In accordance with the official notification of RRB Recruitment 2025, selection Process will comprise of Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Stenography Skill Test (SST)/ Translation Test (TT)/ Performance Test (PT)/ Teaching Skill Test (TST) (as applicable), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

• The Question Paper for Single Stage CBT will be of 90 minutes duration for 100 questions and 120 minutes for PwBD candidates who are availing the Scribe facility.
• The Question Papers shall be of objective multiple-choice type.
• The standard of questions for the Single Stage CBT will be generally in conformity with the educational  standards prescribed for the posts.
